Realistically, a gun control plan that has any hope of getting us down to European levels of violence is going to mean taking a huge number of guns away from a huge number of gun owners. [More]Realistically, how do you expect to accomplish that, Dylan Matthews? By other men than you forcing your will on your countrymen with guns?
And assuming it doesn't go down the way you hope, do you expect survivors who went through hell, many having lost people they love, will look at those who egged it on and say to themselves "Oh well, we'll just agree to disagree"?
