Griddle Me This

Needless to say, little has been made of the argument that none were killed in the Louisiana Waffle House incident because a law-abiding citizen was carrying and using a registered gun. Instead, gun control activists in the media decided to focus on an unarmed man’s heroics – rather than cover a story of how a “good guy with a gun” saved lives – which further strengthens the case for Second Amendment supporters. Here's the archive of Friday's broadcast. [Listen]

#MeToo Movement Now Going for Brokaw

We presently have no idea if Brokaw is guilty or innocent of the sexual harassment allegations. If he is, this is yet another in a long line of examples of those who can’t – or more likely won’t – control themselves trying to control everybody else. And if he’s been falsely accused, well, when “progressives” are allowed to lie without being called on it and without personal repercussions, innocent people get hurt. [More]

Why Does a Dog Lick Himself?

Why is a Republican super majority in the legislature following Michael Bloomberg's agenda? [More]
Because they can.

And they will until gun owners decide to make a public example of one, even if it means giving up a seat, and letting the GOP know they consider enemies on the inside the most dangerous threats. It doesn't take too many political "executions" for poltroons to get the message, and if they won't back you out of principle, settle for them backing you out of fear.

Late RNC-honcho Lee Atwater is reputed to have asked "Who else are they [gun owners] going to vote for?" With that kind of arrogance, there's no steaming pile they can't expect you to lap up.

Oh, but the Democrat enemies are really REALLY anti-gun.

At least we know not to turn our backs on them..

Those who counsel "Politics is the art of the possible" and "The perfect is the enemy of the good" refuse to push envelopes to determine just what is possible, and evidently consider it good to be politically cuckolded.

Poll Dancing

So, if school safety was actually the issue, please explain to me why hundreds of elementary age kids were accessible by anyone who wanted to walk onto campus today? [More]
Fair question.  Then again, were it not a "gun-free zone," it would most likely be a moot one.

And as for poll workers injecting their own politics into the process, it would be helpful in the future to go in with cellphone set to record.

I would have challenged such an abuser on the spot, writtten down his name and the names of other workers and voters within earshot, seen if any would corroborate it, and immediately reported it and then followed up with election authorities. Since Arizona requires:
Appointments are made from a list of precinct voters submitted by party chairmen at least 90 days before election. Inspectors, marshals & judges shall be members of the two political parties which cast the highest number of votes in the state at the last preceding general election, and shall be divided equally between those parties. There shall be an equal number of inspectors in the various precincts in the county who are members of the two largest political parties. Where the inspector is a member of one party, the marshal shall be a member of the other major party.
I'm wondering how there wasn't an immediate challenge by those in charge, and would recommend the person making this claim file a formal, detailed complaint.
