I recall a Denzel Washington movie some years back (John Q) with a similar decision to make. This Dad had no recourse but to save his child's life - and THIS TIME, he got a lucky break.
I hope George Pickering does get a pardon. And I hope an award from the hospital for making this mistake is paid out as well.

I just asked GOA if they would harness up their gigantic email campaign machine for this issue, and offered to sweeten the pot if they did. Perhaps if your readers did the same, it would have much more effect than individual letters to Trump and Abbott.
