We're the Only Ones Like a Good Neighbor Enough

Russell addressed one incident involving a Branson Police officer’s bullet striking a home last fall. [More]
Well that's not very neighborly. Between that and those paying for it not being allowed to use the tax-funded range, I'd object too.

And I thought it was "berm"...

We have many Police and Sheriff's departments using our club for training and qualifications. We even have NCIS and the Hi-way Patrol using our club ranges and training bays. The department training officer or armorer has the key card. Use of the ranges in conjunction with our membership can occur with no advance reservations, but use of the training bays does require reservations.

We've had no problems in over 20 years.

This is exactly why I refuse to join any of the clubs around here. They are always letting the cops use an entire range to the exclusion of everyone else, and, for free!

I went one weekday with a couple of friends who are members, thinking we would have the place mostly to ourselves. Much to our chagrin, a gaggle of cops had the entire 200 yard range closed off. They were standing around a cop SUV parked all the way down by the targets, BSing and they refused to move or leave.

The weekends are a madhouse, members trying to use the ranges while several are closed off for competitions. All of that for a mere $600.00 per year!

The final topper, they promised the yearly dues would go down once they reached their membership goals. But they reached their goal, they claimed the club needed too many improvements to lower the dues.

No thanks!
