'Guest' of Honor

“I killed that bitch and you’re next. No one insults my honor as a Muslim and gets away with it.” [More]
People in Texas sure are intolerant of cultural diversity.

A note on Texas Law is appropriate here. In Texas there felony offenses of a higher degree than First Degree. Such offenses are called "Capital" felonies. If the offender was 18 or older at the time of the offense, there are only two possible results of being convicted of a capital felony. One is execution; the other is life without possibility of parole. When a person is convicted of a capital felony one thing is absolutely certain - the offender will spend the rest of his/her life in prison. The only way that person will leave the prison is in a box. The punishment phase of the trial is to determine whether the convicted will live out their "natural" span or whether they will have help exiting this mortal coil.

Capital Felonies include:
1)murder of a policeman or firefighter while they were in performance of their official duties

2)the person intentionally commits the murder in the course of committing or attempting to commit kidnapping, burglary, robbery, aggravated sexual assault, arson, obstruction or retaliation, or terroristic threat

3)the person commits the murder for remuneration or the promise of remuneration or employs another to commit the murder for remuneration or the promise of remuneration

4)the person commits the murder while escaping or attempting to escape from a penal institution

5)the person, while incarcerated in a penal institution, murders another

6)the person murders an individual under 10 years of age (how abortionists skate, I have no idea)

7)the person murders another person in retaliation for or on account of the service or status of the other person as a judge or justice of a court

No exceptions for "honor" killings. I hope they give the guy LWPP and feed him ham or bacon or other pork at least once a day.
