Witness for the Prosecution

"Whoever... directly or indirectly, gives, offers, or promises anything of value to any person, for or because of the testimony under oath or affirmation given or to be given by such person as a witness" is guilty of a felony. [More]
That could be a real deal-breaker!

Criminal justice in America has become, well, Soviet in character.

What a disgrace that such corruption of our precious Rule of Law carries on in the once home of the free & brave...

While Americans are distracted/obsessed by football and other irrelevant entertainment, the sword and shield of intelligent citizen service as grand and trial jurors remains virtually unused.


Bad times appear to be on the horizon, and we richly deserve it...
