She's planning to spring some media "Gotcha" to get a meme started and spread before the "defense" can get a public word in edgewise. And I wouldn't be surprised to find there's behind-the-scenes blackmail going on right now.
Why am I thinking the most likely scenario will be some unprovable #MeToo allegation about something claimed to have happened years ago that's just being brought up now?
If he withdraws, we'll know the extortionists won.
I'm hoping this fizzles out and proves to be much ado about nothing more than a scare tactic and a smear.

On the Rush Limbaugh show today they reported that the lawyer for the female victim is claiming the incident took place in high school.

While they were in high school? Seriously?
When I was 2 years old I had an eye operation. When the anesthesiologist put the mask over my face I kicked him in the face and loosened his front teeth.
You think that would keep me off of the Supreme Court?
Given all the vetting he has received for his current position, this can only be considered an agenda driven "allegation" for political purposes. If there was anything real there it would have already come out
