In 2010, I was with Mike V in spirit on the 'window war'.
I even went as far as applying for a burning permit to demolish a pole building and burn the debris, at the address of my county Democratic Party office/pole barn.
But alas, it's illegal in my county to burn down a building instead of hauling it off to a dump. They didn't notice or care where the building was, they just turned me down.
