There's an App for That

New App Lets You 'Sue Anyone By Pressing a Button' [More]
I'm just waiting for the rulings to be handed down by "progressive"-programmed AI.

Darn! It's only available for Apple IOS so it only runs on iPhones. Would not mind an Android or Windows version. I would have liked to have had this app a couple of years back when I had to sue my insurance company for a new roof. The lawyer took his 50% cut as his fee PLUS he socked me with "expenses". Bottom line, the lawyer got 60% and I had to take $1,500 out of savings to make up the difference for my new roof.

Years ago my boss was sued in Small Claims Court and I had to go along as a witness. When our turn came to go before His Honor, a Lawyer showed up to represent the plaintiff. His Honor was NOT amused and proceeded to give the shyster one of the most thorough ream-jobs I have ever witnessed. The Judge advised the lawyer that Small Claims Court was supposed/intended to be where regular people could settle a problem WITHOUT getting lawyers involved. He also indicated that he, along with most of his colleagues, despised having to listen to lawyers and therefor considered lawyers who showed up in their courts to be "tasty afternoon snacks". Ream job over His Honor announced judgement in favor of the defendant with my boss' cross filed damages awarded plus all court costs PLUS punitive damages of X2. When the lawyer tried to argue with His Honor, the latter banged his gavel once more and growled "punitive damages X3. Care to try for 4?". Recognizing the superiority of discretion over discourse, the lawyer remained silent.
