Yeah, You Do

...sometimes you need to v*te... [More]
It's called VLLA SELLA.

If you don't pick up and use whatever weapon is at hand, your enemy will kill you.

There is truth in the unattributable aphorism (there is no definitive track to Pericles).

We can either climb up to the zero aggression paradise of tomorrow from the plateau we're on or get knocked back down to the bottom and try it from the camp.

Broken link to the unattributable aphorism?

It worked for me but perhaps one needs to be on Facebook, which raises attribution doubts in the post I linked to, so I changed it to a "Brainyquote" link.

Voting: I remember registering to vote when first eligible. Not sure who I first voted for, for POTUS, probably Gerald Ford.
Back during the big push to ban magazines and so-called "assault weapons" the Broward County (FL) Board of Commissioners had a anti-gun/magazine ordinance proposition on the ballot. Me and a co-worker went down and made sure we would be able to vote on, or rather against this county ordinance.

I've been voting ever since, and haven't missed a primary or a general election. Does it make a difference, yes , sometimes maybe no, but somehow we adverted a Presidential disaster by keeping Hillary out of the White House, and recently here in Florida keeping Andrew Gillum out of Tallahassee, and retiring Bill Nelson.
