Another One Bites the... uh... Not Dust, That's for Sure

There is no excuse for this. [Watch/NSFW]

None.

And I don't mean from Borat -- he's just doing what he does.

That said, duping someone into helping bring about their own personal and reputational destruction could end in tragedy. I'm sure there are some who will laugh even harder if it does.

A Coordinated Effort

Over the last week the Washington Post, New York Times, CNN. NBC News, CBS News, Bloomberg, The New Yorker, Vox, and the Daily Beast have all written a plethora of over 20 articles on the Qanon Movement all using highly similar talking points to marginalize the movement. [More]
Isn't that what they call "collusion"?

And what ever happened to the threatened takedown?

We're the Only Ones Misconducting Enough

Ovalle is not an isolated example. Misconduct by law enforcement officers who testify in court is routinely kept hidden by California’s police privacy laws. [More]

'Elder' Abuse

According to expert Eric Eggers, research director at the Government Accountability Institute, 170 registered voters in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District are listed as being “over 116 years old.” Considering that the world’s oldest living person is a 115-year-old resident of Japan, this is a big problem. [More]
When first learning about the initial reported tabulation discrepancy, I dismissed it from being the result of fraud. My response to a couple different people who sent me the link at that time was:
I'm a longtime PEO (Precinct Election Official) in Ohio and there are pretty good validation and audit procedures in place.  This smells to me more of VLM (VotingLocation Manager) incompetence / laziness that got revealed once the Board of Elections took over. If corruption was involved, Republicans had to be a part of it -- we get partnered one-on-one with the other party at the voting locations and everybody has to sign off on safeguards and results . In re validating absentee ballots or provisionals, that takes place above my pay grade, but again, it's not like the process isn't bipartisan.
This is a whole 'nother animal. If what this new report says is true, this is registration fraud that precedes the chunk I'm involved in, and it's on Jon Husted to make prevention and prosecution his top priorities.

We're the Only Ones on the Beat Enough

The officer hits the man with an onslaught of blows as he wrestles him onto the top of a house's front steps. He punches the man's head multiple times as he lays on the steps, eventually holding him down to the ground. The man, who doesn't return a punch to the officer in the video, appears to bleed from his mouth as the officer holds a forearm to his face while grabbing his arm. [More]
Too bad it's on video -- otherwise he could have been charged with resisting arrest.

Unintended Consequences

As if it couldn’t get much worse for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Washington Post hit the rising progressive star with a massive fact check on Friday, finding that many of her recent claims are downright false. [More]
That presupposes those who would vote for her care about objective truths over identity politics and emotions.

Old Guard Democrats are starting to realize they've created a monster that doesn't need them any more. And that doesn't read The Washington Post.

"As if it couldn’t get much worse"?

Sure they could, but not for her. Assuming nothing disqualifying drops out of the sky, she'll win by a landslide and inspire further radicalization in districts ripe for it.

Feinstein not getting the auto-nod and Pelosi being eyed for the chopping block did not develop in a vacuum.

We just saw an Ohio incident that once again proves how important it is for FFLs and their employees to know what they're doing. Certain non-standard transactions merit extra scrutiny and extra discipline. There are areas where it's not better to act and seek permission later.

Take it from an old regulatory compliance policies and procedures guy.

Not that it would have changed anything...

Keep it up, manchildren. Continue not having the intelligence, maturity or judgment to know when to tone it down. And continue being ignorant of your intended prey, which may know more about you than you realize.

As for why the media ignores their antics and focuses on a handful which are then painted as representative?

Two reasons:

This and this.
