The Weakest Justification

“This shows how rare it is for people to try to enter the U.S. illegally as terrorists by crossing a border,” said Alex Nowrasteh, one of the authors of the Cato study. “It shows how Mexico is not how these folks typically try to enter and the terrorism justification for building the wall is probably the weakest.” [More]
If you're going to rely on foreign illegal border-crossing terrorists proven to have been thwarted, yeah, although we could be in for a surprise at any time. But he's right, the straw man is not the strongest argument, which is why that's the one he's chosen to publicize and discount.

Curious though, how the threat that is the strongest, the engineered remaking of the electorate, has been deflected from and avoided. How about it, "immigration expert" Alex and "libertarian" Cato?  Care to take the challenge?
