But if he wasn't, and if the money is there to pay for this, I'd also like to suggest StabSpotter, microphones embedded everywhere attuned to detect the sound of stabbings and alert authorities. I bet it would be every bit as effective at stopping acts of violence as its gunshot-locating counterpart.
