NZ Police are simply incapable of dealing with the huge number of people and firearms involved. 100,000 new "criminals" and over 250,000 firearms to confiscate and pay compensation for - they have no storage facilities at Police Stations and small town stations are seldom even staffed.
It is going to become even more of a giant fiasco and over-reaction event.
