Even the Underpants Gnomes would pass on this one. At least they had a prayer of stealing all the underpants.

How does this Shmoo plan on registering all the guns in the USA?

I mean, it's worked a charm for so called assault weapons registration in California, Maryland, Connecticut, and New York (four of the bluest states in the Republic). One can only wonder what the numbers would be in say Kentucky or South Carolina. ;-)

How does 20% compliance work for her? Does the new math count 20% as "all"? and I'm guessing that the national rate just might come in at less than what was seen in the previously mentioned four states.

P.S. The "Lady With the Big Hat" in the opening wasn't Rep.Sheila Jackson Lee but rather Rep. Frederica Wilson of FL.

I am in South Carolina and I guarantee you that compliance here with a registration law will be way less than 1%. We may be rednecks but we aren't fools. Besides, prohibited possessors need not register (self-incrimination under the 5th Amendment) - why should the rest of us?
