I did a quick calculation based on the Chicago city population (2018) and the Ciudad Juarez population (2010). The homicide rates per 100,000 are Chicago, 20.7 (4 times the US national average) and Juarez, 94.4, almost 5 times Chicago's. Yeah, that Mexican gun control really works (NOT).
