As for Cullen being a Trump appointee, yeah, some of us have warned about those time and again. In this case, it was an "art of the deal" political concession to Democrats Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, so it's fundamentally dishonest to raise that point as if it's relevant. Having professional Daddy connections to Mike Pence didn't hurt either.
