I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that every one of the shooters had a "frequent flyer" criminal record of multiple felony convictions and even more felony arrests.

Those people at the meeting were getting the wrong results, because they were asking the wrong question.

Not "Why can't you enact stronger gun control laws?" but rather "Why can't you lock these thugs up and keep them locked up?"
