Heller’s Precarious Situation [More]There's a reason for that which nobody wants to admit. Most get mad, assume he's saying what he's not and dismiss it without thoroughly reading and understanding what he's advocating -- or even trying to.
I plan to do a longer piece soon to address that. I'd title it "The Plight of the Cassandra," but too many wouldn't get why.

Please don't hang all your hopes on Heller or even a more robust enforcement of Heller. Scalia left behind a hand grenade therein, and its pin has been pulled: Heller only protects arms in common use. That means when lightsabers are invented, not yet being in common use, they will be bannable for all but the elite. Heller has frozen 'arms' to what's available today.
