Dear Ms Spencer, I am sure what you want to do is forbid firearms in the hands of criminals, violent actors and hot heads. But banning guns in parks, making them so called gun free zones, will only make law abiding citizens less safe. Those with evil intent will not follow the ban, they will do what they will. Innocent, law abiding citizens need a way to protect themselves since the police can't be everywhere bad guys act out. I hope you will consider the unintended consequences of your proposal and help keep innocent citizens truly safe in your ward by allowing them to carry their safety.
There should never be a reason to have a collision in your car, either. When are we going to ban airbags?
