Imagine How Much of a Deterrent It Would Have Been if They'd Only Had This Report Before the Attack

Some employers and employees believe that the availability of armed defense would limit such attacks. Notwithstanding this difference of opinion, it is a known correlation that most of the mass casualties in the workplace are caused by firearms. [More -pp 145-6]

No confirmation bias there.

And it's not a "difference of opinion." If bearing arms did not enhance the chances of prevailing in violent confrontations, why would enforcers do so? 

Then again, admitting the obvious wouldn't result in continuing consulting fees. Speaking of which, I wonder how much tax plunder the city paid to come up with this slick brochure and its accompanying "executive summary"...

If nothing else is at hand, maybe it could be folded...

You know what else correlates with mass shootings? Gun Free Zones.

How much did VA Beach pay that consultant to overlook that fact?
