Osama was a Saudi. And yet, while we declare war on every other Arab nation in the area, the Saudis are still our butt-buddies. I am bumfuzzled about this, and have been for decades.
A prediction:
If the Saudi aviator obtained his weapon Stateside, we will hear the usual blather about "universal" background checks. If he brought it with him from SA, we'll hear nothing about it. Of course, the Controllers would never lie to us to further their objectives, right?
