So Purple Ink on Fingers Wasn't the Answer?

Overnight it’s being reported that Iran is now sending tanks into Iraq to stop protests from Iraqis against the Iran regime. [More]

I'm wondering which one of my son's lives would be worth sacrificing to stop it.

I'll have to get back to you on that.

Besides, think of the refugee opportunities -- I was just thinking the other day how virtuous I could feel seeing more burqas at Sam's Club.

I'd have to disagree with one posted comment that said Iraq has been messed up since Obama blah blah blah......

The historical fact is that Iraq has been messed up as long as Iraq has been in existence.

The question becomes: "How many American lives would we be willing to spend to try, one more time, to sort out the mess we call Iraq?"

I'm not going to touch that one. I'll just respond, "How many American lives would you be willing to risk to try to sort out, one more time, the messes known as France and the UK?"

My answer would be, "Zip, zilch, nada, not happening."

Not that I'm a heartless cruel bastard, I just think those American lives will be needed to sort out a mess much closer to home if you catch my drift.
