Upside Down on 2A

They were told to shut up and sit down or they would be removed.  Meanwhile, Il Ducey responded by saying "Arizona is the number one pro-Second Amendment state in the nation, and that’s not going to change," and is proceeding with the con that STOP orders are different from "red flag laws" because they're kinder, gentler prior restraint denials of due process or something...

Do you know what I find curious about this “upside-downism?” After 25 or so years of full ballot access, starting five years ago the legislature (majority Republican) decided to harden the ballot access requirements to the point where the Libertarian Party was effectively and successfully shut out of the electoral process entirely (see link).

Why, it’s almost as if the GOP wanted to cut off potential competition from the constitutional right before plotting its own course to the left.
