And we'll just enforce that with our "manhunters" here...

We're the Only Ones Going Home to Mother Enough
A San Diego police officer is facing misdemeanor charges after witnesses say she got drunk and started waiving her gun around in a bar while off duty. Carlsbad police did not take the officer to jail. Instead, they released her to her mother. [More]Now, like some of the comment posters, I don't want to hear that she got special "Only One" treatment. I'm sure the coroner would eventually release us to our family, too.

We're the Only Ones Gaming the System Enough
A former Lawrence police officer has pleaded guilty to 14 counts of federal wire fraud for selling stolen video games on eBay last year while he was a member of the police department. [More]Because the "Only Ones" are more trustworthy than you are at being "first-person shooters"...which is why they get access to more "cheat codes" than the general population...

Be the Best Witness You Can Be
That and give them what they want.
We can't have any heroes any more.
At least not ones who don't work for the state pretending that's their job.
Otherwise, people might start getting ideas...and start undermining all that dependency we're relying on...

We're the Only Ones Standing By Enough
Two Marin County sheriff's deputies watched from 50 feet away while a man killed two people with a shotgun on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge last week. [More]It may surprise you to find I agree with Sheriff Doyle, and I'm not playing "Monday- morning quarterback" for the officers' actions/inaction.
What I will criticize is the perception that the police will protect you. That and the way much of California, particularly Marin County, makes it highly improbable that any but an "Only One" will ever legally have a gun on their person in a public place with which they can defend themselves.
Oh, and also Sheriff Doyle's insistence on keeping things that way...

We're the Only Ones Getting Carried Away with Our Work Enough
A statewide manhunt was launched Tuesday after deputies say a Katy ISD police officer was abducted by a fellow cop. [More]Let the average cud-chewer see Office Reyes with a gun and they shrug it off. Let them see you with a gun and let the bladder releasing begin.
We need to do what we can to change that societal perception, particularly in light of leg-furrowing hoplophobes like Chris Matthews dominating their sources for opinions. Which is why I continually give attention to the "Only Ones" files...

OSHA Pick Michaels Will Use 'Public Health' Scheme to 'Regulate' Guns
Does anyone doubt that Michaels will bring a similarly creative agenda to apply through regulatory measures under the guise of "occupational safety and health"? [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner column recalls recent history when anti-gun agency heads used the "guns/public health" fraud to advance their disarmament schemes.

This Day in History: August 19
