We're the Only Ones Officially Oppressive Enough

A Pennsylvania state trooper is facing assault charges for allegedly punching a motorist and pointing a stun gun at the man's face. [More]
For some reason, I read the "Only One's" name as "Shutthef**kupski." Which seems to go along with taking the citizen's cell phone when he tried to call 911.

Kun Aseet Ovat Kiellettyjä...

Police in Finland have tightened up procedures for granting firearms licenses over the past few years. More applications for firearms licenses are being rejected, while licenses already granted are being rescinded an increasing pace. [More]
...Vain rikolliset ovat aseita.

My best approximation using Google Translator to say "When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns."

Anyone who actually knows the language, please correct.

Hey, I thought only paranoids worried about stuff like this...?

And why does it not surprise me?

We're the Only Ones Suspending All Belief Enough

A Dallas police officer who fatally struck a child last October received a one-day suspension during a disciplinary hearing this afternoon. [More]
Dark. No lights. No siren. 72 in a 40.

One day.

Which doesn't stop disgusting "Only Ones" apologists in comments from absolving the cop and blaming the kid and his parents.

http://bireyselsilahlanma.blogspot.com/

We as an Turkish citizens are being under ruthless laws to being armament and needs too much public support wherever it come from(Turkey or abroad) so I just would like to inform you as a gun enthusiast from Turkey and request any kind of support from you (for example a little paragraph article or something like that about our movement)

I will be grateful if you can talk or write a little statement about BSSAH initiate...
When someone asks me for help regarding promoting the right to keep and bear arms, I feel compelled to at least try. Still, even though I've linked to translated page versions, I still have difficulty following along. If anyone has Turkish-English skills, please educate us all in "Comments," below.

In the mean time, I did find this article that seems to give a pretty good summary of what they're about.

UPDATE: They sent me this graphic showing how the government is pricing firearms out of reach.

Hillary Clinton's NRA Spokesman

Child-proofing guns is fairly easy to do. First, keep guns unloaded and locked in a storage device, such as a gun safe, that no one can access but the gun owner. Second, keep all ammunition in a separate, locked container that no one can access but the gun owner. [More]
Thanks, Bob! Madame Secretary couldn't have said it better herself!
If you own a gun... make sure it’s locked up and stored without the ammunition. In fact, make it stored where the ammunition is stored separately.
The pitchfork murderers of America thank you.

This kid, not so much. Or this one. Or this one...

Media Discovering Oath Keepers: Part One

We've talked about Oath Keepers many times here on Gun Rights Examiner. Now the "mainstream media" is starting to take notice of them. And some are taking their cues from fabricated and hysterical Southern Poverty Law Center cries of "Witch!"...I mean "Hate group!" [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column is a two-parter, and covers a group of patriots who are coming under increasing scrutiny--and increasing attacks. This first posting establishes background. I'll do another announcement in a moment for Part Two.
