Coalition sends open letter opposing gun ban to Congress

“Members of the National Coalition to Stop the Gun Ban demand that Congress refuse to use lawful gun owners as political scapegoats and instead reduce school violence by defeating any attempt to pass gun control including, but not limited to, banning semi-automatic firearms or magazines, or requiring private gun transfers to be registered through the National Instant Check System; and repealing the Gun Free School Zones Act of 1996,” the letter states. This evening's Gun Rights Examiner report spotlights a coalition standing fast against compromise, and notes a conspicuous absence.

Senator Stewart Greenleaf has enjoyed the benefits of an endorsement before, and we’re not aware of anything from the last cycle that would change that.

I feel better already.

We're the Only Ones Grand Slammed Enough

According to news reports, five plain-clothes detectives were enjoying a meal in the restaurant when a customer noticed one of them carrying a gun. Reports say that all of them were also wearing badges either on their belt or around their neck. A manager approached the group and told them that they would have to take their guns back to their cars, as it was “company policy” to allow only uniformed officers to carry firearms, and the business was clearly posted as such. Outrageous, treating them like other customers! Especially since Denny's is doing a Hobbit movie-themed promotion right now, and they were all wearing their magic talismans. So they got their Moons over My Hammy out of there...
