Anti-rape underwear highlights absurd desperation of anti-defense mentality

“The underwear, called Society Harnessing Equipment (SHE), deploys a 3,800kV charge to anyone touching the outside of the underwear while protecting the wearer with a polymer lining,” the report elaborates, adding “It can shock an attacker up to 82 times [and] the bra of this underwear set is equipped with GPS tracking device that can notify cops and family members in real-time in the event of an attack.” [More]
This evening's Gun Rights Examiner offering strips down to the basics. Go ahead and share it with any women you know who may not be convinced the choice for armed defense should be theirs, and ask them if they honestly believe this is a superior alternative.

Forced?

I guess years of indoctrination work at producing conditioned obedience to perceived authority. I'm amazed no one told her to stuff it. [Read]

Despite the slave labor, her pathetic, lying petition only got 24 votes before it closed down.  I wonder how many would sign one demanding the university fire this ungulate.

The Rifle on the Wall

Well, the first counter-revolutionary act of every government is to collect the guns, and a necessary element of pre-emptive counter-revolution in the American polity is the disarming of the people. Nobody on the left, nobody interested in the radically democratic transformation of our society, should be interested in helping with that. [More

Toomey bucks gun owners in background check deal

Another question that might be asked: Why did NRA not issue a very public warning that any caving would result in an automatic downgrading and a commitment to deny future support to defectors abandoning their gun-owning core constituents in time of greatest need? [More]
Today's second Gun Rights Examiner report notes a puzzling betrayal made all the more so by an absence of announced consequences from their biggest boosters in order to persuade them not to desert under fire.

‘Restrictive’ gun laws no impediment to Serbian mass shooting

Not one of these laws had any effect on the decision of the killer, just as nothing being proposed and imposed in the United States will have any effect on the next shooting that will happen here -- except to help guarantee the perpetrator the one thing he desires the most: Success. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes the murderous effects imposed by those who would disarm us under the guise of protecting us from "gun violence."

Vote Early, Vote Often

Don't forget to vote for this today -- we can do it every day through April.

Click here and give the "thumbs up."  That is, unless you believe there's already too much programming on television illustrating the defensive benefits of gun ownership...

It's Got Nothing to Do with Being Fat

In one instance, Moore received over 500 total downvotes by responding to the question "If mayors, celebrities, text can have armed security...why can't I have a gun to protect myself and my family? Am I not just as important?" thusly:
It's because those people get a hundred death threats every week. How many did you get this week? Usually my answer to a Rightie spewing hate and fear and who wants to know why i have security, I answer them by saying you've already answered your own question. [More]
In other words, yeah, you're not as important.

The death threats claim is overblown as well  -- in numbers and in interpretation of hostile statements expressing wishes vs. actual credible pledges of intended harm.

Hell, according to this, there may be a greater risk if you voted for Bush over Gore. And what the hell does this have to do with background checks?

I need to find the actual study and the time to dig into it -- I smell an agenda and some very selective interpretation.
