But It's From the "Tea Party"...
Yeah, sure it is. [More]
I'm sure I've talked before about groups that raise money from well-meaning donors that benefits opportunistic fundraisers and takes away from where some good could actually be done, but I'm fighting a deadline and don't have time to go looking for old posts right now. Anyway, lotta folks basking in the light of Brat's star -- not that they did anything to help its ascension -- and now they're finding other names to pretend they're integral team players for.

It's a Mystery to Me
In a post from July 2012 about an ongoing problem with double vision, which apparently developed after he was hit in the head some weeks earlier, Jernigan complained that the medication he was taking may cause mood changes, sadness and suicidal thoughts. [More]What, oh what could have set him off? If only there were some clue...

We're the Only Ones Checking Up on You Enough
A bill pending in the Ohio House of Representatives would make it legal for drivers to warn others of upcoming checkpoints by flashing their headlights. [More]Why would I need a bill to exercise my right to free speech? And they ticketed a guy with a sign half a mile from the checkpoint?
James Manzo did the ticketing, eh?
This James Manzo?
Why is he still on the force? Hell, why is he out of a cage? And why shouldn't anyone approached by him automatically assume a deadly threat?
Gosh, sensitive, aren't they?

We're All Adam Hellers Now
"Dr. Lerman was unable to conclude whether Mr. Heller presents a risk to others because Mr. Heller failed to cooperate with the evaluation and thus it must be assumed that Mr. Heller presents such a risk," the charges said. [More]Ah, guilty until proven innocent! Think of all the time that will save. How very "progressive."
And as far as believing strongly in "wild" conspiracies, guilty as charged. It beats believing in Underpants Gnomes. Plus, I have better sources than the sick monopoly of violence cultists making such kooky fantasy charges.
I'm still shaking my head over the "Only Ones" taking the word of a self-identified medium that someone else has reality issues.
I don't know if this Heller character is as dangerous as a maniac or not. That's the point, until we do, what must the state presume he is? After that, of course, anyone who can't be trusted with a gun can't be trusted without a custodian. Until they can be.

We are ruled by criminals. That's why their behavior to those they shake down is increasingly thuggish and geared toward intimidation.
And voting for the rival gang is hardly going to help.

The One Percent Rule
They intend to, at least over the lands Longshanks allows as long as he gets his tributes. [More]
Funny, how the guy the government put in his place now sucks on them the hardest.
Also funny ("peculiar" funny, not "ha-ha" funny) how so many who rail against the establishment fall right into their disarmament desires, rather than embracing true egalitarian power sharing.
Maybe they like being lied to and used...?

Thomas Paine isn't revered for his ash cake recipe. And it was the Royalists who denounced him as inflammatory, no coincidence. [More]The rulers are working frantically to overcome inconvenient impediments like dissent.

Defensive Arms Vindicated is a learned and brilliant, if unpolished, discourse intended to prove that resistance against the abuse of a lawful power is not only justified but is a positive duty of the people. [More]
