We're the Only Ones Charged Enough

A complaint filed Friday charges 37-year-old Darrin Duane Hirsh of Great Bend with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of criminal threat, domestic battery, two counts of witness intimidation and two counts of violation of a restraining order. [More]
And the hits just keep on coming...

A Standing Joke

Krieger determined that the plaintiffs lacked standing in their lawsuit. [More]
Mark that, Only Ones. You're the guys they expect to risk all enforcing this nonsense, but you don't have a say.

Feel like tools, yet?

And thanks for nominating her, "Vote Freedom First" President!

WarOnGuns Correspondent CYDL notes some appealing sheriffs, and adds "The ultimate appeal will be this November.  We need turnout."

Connecticut Gun Commission Exhibits Mental Issues of Its Own

The latest bizarre proposals, presented under the auspices of the Orwellian-named Subcommittee on Firearms/Ammunition, Best Practices/Protocols and Violence Reduction, are numerous, bureaucratic, unwieldy, terminally politically correct, and frankly, pretty stupid. As far as concerns for gun owners, they boil down to two big showstoppers: They want to "[r]equire that any shell casing for ammunition sold or possessed in Ct. have a serial number laser etched on same for tracing purposes," and "[t]hat a mental health suitability screening process be developed for anyone seeking a license to sell, purchase or carry any type of firearm in Ct." My latest JPFO Alert notes as far as Connecticut anti-gun nuts go, it's a madhouse. A MADHOUSE!

Relatives of criminal shot trying to hold up Waffle House demand 'gun control'

“Tamika McSwain is Williams' cousin and said more training is needed before someone is given a CWP,” the Fox report relates. “McSwain said her family was disappointed that Harrison wasn't charged in the shooting and says her family is still considering pursuing other legal action against him.” [More]
Today’s Gun Rights Examiner report notes “respectable boys” behave that way.

An Evolved Twist...

...on guns as penises. [More]

Let's hope MILM there washed those things, so the kids don't pick up anything else.

How very "progressive" the propaganda masters are, putting those things in the hands of child actors.  I'm sure they'd dismiss that concern as an uptight, repressed conservative just being a prude.

I note there is no message on "Teach children to respect privacy and property boundaries" and "Teach development-appropriate firearm and other safety lessons."

The forehead-palming thing is, I'm seeing some, who should know better, expressing appreciation for the "cleverness" of the bit, and believing it to be an effective "safety" message that shouldn't be knocked. Congratulations on helping professional illusionists employed by an "evolved" breed of disarmament advocates succeed in their sleight of mind.

Politely Phrased

Is Seattle mayor mimicking Bloomy group’s exaggeration, misrepresentation? [More]
See, I'd have just asked "Why is the tyranny-minded bastard such a shameless damn liar?" but the question answers itself.

Count Chocula Must Die Redux

In the United States today, the names Apache, Comanche, Chinook, Lakota, Cheyenne and Kiowa apply not only to Indian tribes but also to military helicopters. Add in the Black Hawk, named for a leader of the Sauk tribe. Then there is the Tomahawk, a low-altitude missile, and a drone named for an Indian chief, Gray Eagle. Operation Geronimo was the end of Osama bin Laden. [More]
Jeez, life must be pretty good for you, Simon, if this is all you have to grouse about.

What I want to know, as a proud, full-blooded Transylvanian-American, do you have any idea how offensive and intimidating my people find it when you Prozis refer to belly-aching collectivist whiners and parasites, who share no investment risks, as "stakeholders"?

A Fundamental Flaw

...at least as mobilized and well-funded as the NRA and the gun manufacturers are... [More]
If it doesn't involve top-down direction and central control, this guy and his minions are blind to the real reasons -- and in denial that ultimately, the decision to capitulate or defy will be individual.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen NRA needing to be dragged into a fight, or seen them and NSSF thwarted on "compromises" by ornery --what did a prag call some of us once? Oh, yeah, "principles freaks" --  who will have none of it.

On the one hand, it makes impatient, impulse control-challenged Prozis overreach, which is always dangerous. On the other, that reveals the ravenous face under the mask and increases resolve to resist, which, lest they forget, is also dangerous.

We're the Only Ones In Shape Enough

Hey, those are shapes... [More]

And remember: Resistance is futile!

A Pleasant Point

There should be a law requiring every household with a gun (no matter what kind) to post a sign in a window or on the front lawn warning that there are firearms in that home.  [More]
Congratulations, Frank DiGirolamo of Point Pleasant!

You win!

This Day in History: June 27

I have the honor to enclose a cypher which I have been compelled to retain some time for wanting a safe opportunity of transmiting. When more than one word is represented by the same cypher if it should be equivocal, it may be proper to shew which is designed by drawing two strokes under the second & three under the third as for differ 788—difficult 788. tho this will seldom be necessary except now & then at the beginning of a sentence before the sense is sufficiently plain to serve as a direction. [More]
I'm looking forward to the next season of "Turn," but it'll be a while.
