Kurt's latest JPFO Alert, "Missouri's New "Strict Scrutiny" of Gun Laws Frees Non-Violent Felon," looks at a recent decision and the predictable bloody murder-screaming from the same people who don't want you armed, either. [More]
If "felons" are truly dangerous, releasing them makes as much sense as saying the man-eating lion's sentence is up and it's time to open the cage. I got that concept from this book-- great history if you can find it.

Exclusive: Giving Gun Owners The Business
The bias against firearms and firearms-related products—let’s just call it what it is, discrimination against gun owners—hardly ends there. [More]My latest GUNS Magazine "Rights Watch" column is now online. Please check it out, leave comments, and if you like it, share the link.
Hit man hire on molested girls alleged against former Bloomberg mayor’s husband
If an anti-gun, politically-connected Democrat hires a hit man to kill children to keep them from testifying that he molested them, why would you want to make it illegal for parents to defend them with tools of their choice -- not just in the home, but wherever the threat materializes? [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes Everytown for Hit Man Safety might just mean "TO the children" instead of "FOR."
Is That Anything Like Making the Executed Prisoner's Family Pay for the Bullet?
A Numbers Game
From friend Laocoön in response to the latest impotent/phony Numbers USA email appeal to "Fax your Representative about Congress protecting Pres. Obama's unconstitutional amnesties":
NumbersUSA, FAIR, CAPS:Now I'm going to tweet it to them, because he's been telling them this for a long time, they've been ignoring it, and we are where we are. If all a group produces is failure, who needs 'em? It's not like they're not capable of being smart, so the question needs to be asked: Who does it serve to be dumb?
Congratulations on this key victory toward your apparent goal of losing the USA. As you know, your strategy is designed to lose. You must like losing, which is a good thing because you'll be getting a lot more of it. Kudos on having your members calling the likes of DiFi, Boxer and Waxman -- F rated, committed enemies in safe districts who are smart enough to know that amnesty gives them a permanent hegemony -- instead of focusing on shoring up the potential swing votes (i.e., mainly the 75 Republicans who betrayed Party, oath, constitution, country, fellow citizens). Kudos on not bothering to forward to key legislators GOA's announcement that it was going to begin grading amnesty as an indirect gun rights issue. Otherwise Republicans, and Dems in conservative districts, might have thought twice about crossing us. And of course, Kudos on dropping the ball on election organization, so they know you're a one-legged paper tiger and can safely treat us like chumps.
Not Everyone Feels the Same Way About Vanderboegh
Yeah, no kidding. [More]
I hear a lot of noise.
I've been though it with the guy up close and personal. I've seen the toll he pays.
If we win this thing, Mike will be remembered as a Patriot.
That doesn't mean we're joined at the hip or I think he's infallible or anything else. But then, if you actually knew him, as opposed to just reading snippets without complete context, or believing what others say of him, you'd never leap to either of those illusions.
You who would call him "Red Mike" or wish him dead from cancer agonizingly eating him from the inside, you might as well include me in your daily Two Minutes Hate, or however long you want to devote to it.
Gosh, and to think when I started out, getting everyone to like me was such a priority...

Momentum Grows
Myrtle Point Passes Resolution, Tillamook On Deck [More]If you're from Oregon, it would take about the same amount of time to help with this as it would take for posting a lame excuse for not lifting a finger.

Diversification
Just so you don't make the mistake of thinking "progressive" diversity includes tolerance for those they accuse of being "haters," that is, pretty much anyone (except for government monitors) who regularly visits this blog... [More]

Caving to Outside Influence
Writer/actor/outdoorsman Jameson Parker reports on attempts by billionaires to change laws in states where they don’t live. [More]This is a message that cannot be overstated. People don't like to discover they are being exploited and conned.
Plus, the guy relies on an unimpeachable source...:-)
Fight Back!
OK, how about we start by giving "F" ratings to all politicians who support his amnesty, Lynch, etc...?
Or by "Fight back!" do you just mean "Send money!" so you can keep enabling the sellouts? Because the email takes me to here...
And because "Dictator" is a strong word. It demands a free people take up arms to overthrow it.

Nothing Personal
Except you continue to make it so Rehka. [More]
"Progressives" and Opposite Day, you know.
That's why someone so consistently ignorant and impotent can claim both knowledge and power.
And if you'd like more Opposite Day contradictions from The Des Moines Register ("A Gannett Company," naturally), they also claim rights are a privilege to be registered, and publishing names of permit holders preserves those rights... er.. privileges...
We want to tell the world about you, even if it undermines your personal security or just plain privacy interests. And if you act like your rights are not privileges, exercise them without permission and get caught, we'll destroy you.
Nothing personal.

This Day in History: March 4
The predicament in which I stand as Citizen & Soldier, is as critical and delicate as can well be conceived. It has been the subject of many contemplative hours. The sufferings of a complaining army on one hand, and the inability of Congress and tardiness of the States on the other, are the forebodings of evil; & may be productive of events which are more to be depricated than prevented; [More]
