[M]any paying top dollar for tickets will undoubtedly be gun owners, and many of those may not realize they’ll be patronizing – providing aid and comfort, really – to an avowed enemy of their right to keep and bear arms. [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes gun-owning moviegoers being "taken" yet again by this fraud.

With ‘Run All Night,’ anti-gun hypocrite Neeson may run all the way to the bank
"Gun Safety" Advocates on Parade
You know, the Brady Campaign! [Watch]
This video started out saying "Funny of Die." Seeing as how it wasn't even remotely the first, the latter seems the more likely option. No wonder comments are turned off.
I wonder who the actors are. They really suck. Which is OK, because someone's gotta speak English in Hollywood-area restaurants, at least for the next few years.

A Compelling Action
PLAINTIFF’S MOTION AND BRIEF TO COMPEL DEFENDANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN RULE 26(f) CONFERENCE [More]This is the latest filing in the Hollis machine gun case.
We're the Only Ones Rewriting Enough
Computers operating on the New York Police Department’s computer network at its 1 Police Plaza headquarters have been used to alter Wikipedia pages containing details of alleged police brutality, a review by Capital has revealed. [More]They just get more Stalinist every day, don't they?

The Courage of Their Convictions
To paraphrase an old quote I recall that I believe was coined by Doug Bandow, there is no more useless creature than a gutless Republican. [More]
Rules for Radicals
Here's a good example of Alinsky's Rule 5, as committed by apparatchiks of his Bolshevik-in-Chief disciple. [More]
Going Postal for Big Brother
This postal surveillance program sounds shady as hell. FOX31 Denver found one camera disguised as a utility box that "was positioned to capture and record the license plates and facial features of customers leaving a Golden Post Office." Within an hour of the local news station's discovery, the Postal Inspection Service had ripped it out of the ground, though the force later admitted that it had a "number of cameras at their disposal." [More]I had occasion to be at a courthouse recently and went through the waddler-imposed (those guys aren't missing many meals) TSA-style kabuki performance, and the mailman came with the day's delivery. They waved him right through.
Nice to know they have Only Ones privileges, too, although I admit they do generally handle family dogs a lot better than the thick blue line.

We're the Only Ones Having Seizures Enough
Taking home seized firearms used to be an officer’s unofficial “perk.” But the raw number of firearms seized is also used to secure grant money... [More]In other words, they are violent thieves working for an organized crime syndicate intent on rubbing out anything that gets in the way of its psychotic ambitions to rule and control all.
No wonder they want to deprive their victim pool of all ammo capable of piercing vests -- and all other ammo after that.
That's Pretty Bad...
...when even The Washington Post calls Barack Obama a damn liar on guns. [More]
Going Full BTodd
In a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, ATF Director B. Todd Jones said all types of the 5.56 military-style ammo used by shooters pose a threat to police as more people buy the AR-15-style pistols. [More]Only to oath-breaking under color of authority criminals who first threaten to destroy the lives of Americans who will not surrender their rights feel threatened -- which is as it should be.
And, of course, if that ammo's a "threat," why what about larger calibers? I'm surprised Bloomberg hasn't hired a rogue gunsmith to start cranking out handguns to submit to BATF-U for approval yet.
The totalitarian traitors mean to destroy us.
And we're the extremists.
So who do you think gives them pause from actually deploying the Sardaukar? The I Will Not Comply Three Percenters, or the disapproving prags?

The Devil You Know
The May issue of GUNS Magazine, with my Rights Watch column by this title, is now in mailboxes and at newsstands throughout the Republic.
If you don't see it on magazine racks where you shop, ask 'em why not.

Nice to See Someone Else Noticing
Beck to NRA: It's Norquist or me [More]Fine and good to point out the Islamist concerns, but both he and Farah are ignoring the amnesty threat to RKBA. Be nice if someone would explain it to them so they could use their substantial amplifiers, because neither one will listen to little old me.

UPDATE: Looks like Beck got NRA's attention. And distracted them from taking on an even more important issue in the process.

The Shooting Bench
Last night's interview with Cope Reynolds is now online. [More]
It starts around 11 minutes in.
Listening to it I note I did not adequately distinguish that Lynch is up for AG, and it sounded like I was talking for SCOTUS. Eh, you talk to somebody abut multiple details for an hour off the top of your head, see if there's anything you'd like to restate.

This Day in History: March 13
Supposing the dispatches received by the Washington may have enabled Congress to decide on the expediency of continuing or of countermanding my mission to Europe, I take the liberty of expressing to you the satisfaction it will give me to receive their ultimate will so soon as other business will permit them to advert to this subject.
