Joe Miller Picks Up My Norquist /Beck Piece

Plus my interview with him is embedded. [More]

His producer had asked me for a photo, and that Facebook profile is the best one I had, because I don't do selfies and everything else I have was personal  stuff and didn't seem appropriate. She was concerned it might be too grainy, and I told her some of us look better that way, or at least blurry.

Climate change hypocrisy ignores environmental impact of illegal immigration

But following that, what is the additional burden on the environment when tens of millions of “surprise” arrivals add their wants and needs to the infrastructure in cities and communities throughout the land, from energy production and consumption, to water purification, use, and drainage, to waste disposal and more? How much more traffic and transportation activity, with resultant pollutants will be generated? How much more greenhouse gas will be generated? How much larger will the national carbon footprint get? [More
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes "progressives" want to use environmentalcase justifications to ban everything from wood stoves to guns in parks, but add the impact of tens of millions of illegal aliens and the strains that will put on all things infrastructure, and all of a sudden the issue doesn't even become worth mentioning.  Gee, you don't think it might be just an attention redirect to pull a massive con job and fundamentally transform America, do you?

Speaking of Armed American Radio

Expanding on the wildly popular Armed American Radio national program, USCCA is proud to announce more unapologetic defense of Second Amendment rights with the new daily syndicated program, Armed American Radio's Daily Defense with Mark Walters. Distributed by Salem Radio Network and launching Monday, April 6th, 2015 weekdays, 4-5pm ET. Armed American Radio’s Daily Defense promises a never-before-heard daytime talk format. [More]
This should provide many opportunities to get more timely news out there, and to stimulate a demand for more such information.

Last Night on Armed American Radio

Grover Norquist answers Glenn Beck's public threats to leave the NRA if he is reelected to the NRA Board of Directors. Alan Gottlieb and the SAF stand steadfast in their media campaign against the ATF bullet ban attempt. John Lott discusses the Crime Prevention Research Center and the celebrity fundraiser at the annual NRA meetings, Rob Pincus kicks off the PDN training tour, legendary senate staffer Mike Hammond from inside the beltway, Neil McCabe, David Codrea and George Hill provide analysis. [More]
Grover was on in Hour Two. I came on in Hour Three. Supposedly, he's coming back after the NRA election is finalized. Let's see if he'll even acknowledge my specific challenges, let alone address them in any meaningful way.

Vaal is Angry!*

Former Senior White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer admits that one of President Obama’s angriest moments in the White House was after the Senate blocked his push for gun control. [More]
Wish I'd have been there to pull a Nelson Muntz.

No Compelling Argument

“Armor-piercing rounds like green tips should only be in the hands of military personnel or police officers, period,” Engel said. “There is absolutely no compelling argument to be made for anyone else to have access to them.” [More]
Sure there is.

Send storm troopers to enforce this treason and we'll explain it to you, miserable traitor.

Guess what happened last time government came for the ammo.

Oh, look.  Another Kapo for Kristallnacht.

See, Barack Obama DOES Believe in Guns

To protect himself. [More]

I wonder how many average lifetimes of taxed employment were needed to fund his Jimmy Kimmel appearance?

Gunnies List

WarOnGuns Correspondent William G. Zielinski writes:
Several states, cities, some unions and persons are withdrawing pension and investment funds from gun related ventures. Microsoft, Levi Strauss, the Men's Wearhouse, Progressive Insurance, Marriott, not to mention Bloomberg and Snoop Dogg, maintain policies to end gun ownership. State and Federal legislators see this and attempt to join the bandwagon looking for votes. Is it time for us to become more proactive and show these people that we can have a financial as well as a voting impact. I believe that having in place a zero tolerance program towards these folks is possible. There are about 5,000,000 NRA members and countless others in Gun Owners of America, 2nd Amendment Foundation, and millions others who should be in these groups. If there were a listing such as Angies List, for gun owners, more people would avoid doing business with the gun haters. I realize such a listing could be a hard undertaking, but the results over time would I believe be worthwhile. When a gun owner would need a new computer, new jeans, new car insurance motel reservations etc., etc., he/she could check the list and avoid the gun haters.
I think it's an interesting idea, and could be expanded to include famous persons like "entertainers." I would also like to see specifically what it is each entity did to earn their place on the list.

The thing is, it would be a full-time venture to put something comprehensive together, and to promote and maintain it/manage the crowd-sourcing. That means funding would be needed for a dedicated effort.

Barring that, interesting idea...

There Oughtta Be a Law

We're the Only Ones Sought Out Enough

L.A. police seek one of their own in connection with man’s killing [More]
Thank goodness L.A. has "common sense gun safety laws," making it unlikely any but the Only Ones are "legally" able to carry a firearm!

Right?

The Voice of Experience

He is a survivor of the infamous 1999 shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado ... Now Representative Neville has introduced a bill to allow anyone with a concealed carry permit to carry a gun in public schools. [More]
I don't care for the "permit" business, but I'd take the incremental gain.

"Progressive" Tolerance

For those who don’t know what we’re referring to, first let’s recall the time that New Belgium Brewery told America that it only hired Democrats. [More]
But if you're a devout Christian and you don't want to bake a wedding cake with two grooms on it, well, tell 'em, Bones:

Here's hoping the portion of the population that does not vote Democrat exercises its free market choice to not give aid and comfort to the enemy.

A "Progressive" Diversion

YAEL T. ABOUHALKAH manages to create a diversion and draw eyeballs to his piece (thus pleasing his masters with his worth) by repeatedly calling people who believe in the right to keep and bear arms "gun nuts," thus outraging them and getting them to tell their friends to come on over and read this crap and see what @$$holes the antis are. [So I'm not going to give him a link --if you really must read this for yourself, you have enough info here to find it.]

The "danger" he warns is a looming threat -- just on his say-so (and with complete disregard for actual experience in Vermont, Arizona, Alaska, Arkansas, Wyoming...), is permitless carry.

It is a diversion, of course, because Yael doesn't believe in permitted carry or even private gun ownership, either. If he had his way, we'd all be living in a state monopoly of violence.

This is just another instance where the Prozis will be happy to take an incremental "win" before pressing on to the next one, and the one after that.  And to help make that happen, well, let Mr. Pynchon explain.

We're the Only Ones Racially Pure Enough

“Well said!” Furminger replied, according to the prosecutors’ court filing. “You may have to kill the half-breeds too,’’ the unnamed officer replied, adding: “Don’t worry. Their (sic) an abomination of nature anyway.” [More]
So much for our diversity being our strength.

The reason similar outrage wasn't generated over this guy is because those in power agree with him.

Stumbling Among the Tombstones

Liam Neeson's Run All Night got off to a very slow start ... opened in a distant second place with an estimated $11 million. That's a fraction of Non-Stop's $28.9 million debut, and is also lower than A Walk Among the Tombstones's poor $12.8 million start. [More]
And most of the audience for this all-male cast "action movie" were females.

Think word is getting out?
