Newsom Super Bowl Contest a Reminder of Selective Regard for Rules
Curious isn’t it, that a man who has demonstrated time and again how he can’t – or won’t – control himself is so obsessed with controlling others? Telling, isn’t it, that someone who has proven so untrustworthy to those who have known him best is so distrustful of others? [More]A career scumbag is offering a chance at game tickets for rights. No doubt there'll be plenty of takers demanding to give up yours along with their own.
Sins of Omission
The liberal media avoid reporting on President Obama’s many scandals at any cost, and Fast and Furious is no exception. [More]True enough.
And not to put too fine a point on things -- but if I don't bring this up nobody else will -- the "conservative media" have avoided reporting on how the story came out in the first place, how everybody they do give credit to learned of it, and all of the groundwork that was done before and since by names they never mention.
I don't expect to change that Mike and I have been completely written out of the mass media narrative, but I also don't intend to stop pointing out what's undeniably documented and what everyone can verify for themselves.

These guys sure like to load up on the chest candy, don't they? And Bling Crosby here appears to be an even bigger idiot than his thug predecessor.
I know, go easy on the ad hominem, but in this case, the man deserves to be the focus of the argument, plus I just figured out who he reminds me of: Kif from Futurama.
Sigh. If only they would disarm you and me. After all, it doesn't pay to piss off the people who keep you in power.
Forget it Jake, it's Chi-Town. Seriously-- if this is the "progressive" idea of fighting violent crime...

Guantanamo guard: ‘CIA killed prisoners and made it look like suicide’ ... He has now written a book, Murder at Camp Delta, which he hopes will be a step towards finding out the truth. [More]On the one hand, we have wholly unsympathetic victims and someone with a strong motive to promote allegations.
On the other, we have outrageous examples of official brutality we can consult.
Then we have secret Patriot Act/FISA court "interpretations," and no shortage of accusations that those who believe in the tyranny-deterrent aspects of the Second Amendment are "homegrown" domestic enemies...
Especially those who speak out against being treated that way...

Striking Sparks
“Federal authorities must move quickly to end the occupation and hold all of the wrongdoers accountable,” Brown said. [More]Careful with that match there, Kate.
Some of us would rather tone things down in a more measured fashion.
