Dueling Reid/Rubio Terror Bills Betray Constitution, Defy Reality, Trample Rights

It evidently doesn’t occur to either Republican or Democrat oath-breakers that terrorists and criminals have options other than gun stores and 4473s, and that if one did have a transfer denied or delayed, you might as well also tell him he’s been made and the government is closing in on him. [More]
So both Reid and Rubio think the solution to this is more “gun control”? Are they out of their minds, or is some other dynamic at play here?

The Pincer Strategy

One of California’s marquee tech moguls is dropping big money into two California ballot measures. Sean Parker, the billionaire founder of Napster and first president of Facebook, has contributed $400,000 to Proposition 63, a gun-control measure, and $3.8 million to support Proposition 64, which would legalize recreational marijuana. [More]
They probably won't even realize that second bill will make them "prohibited persons."  But those behind it do.

When Sean offers you another hit, he doesn't mean off the bong.

Unmasked

While attending Harvard Law School, Koh wrote in its Women’s Law Journal that “minority judges still need to maintain the disguise of ‘objectivity’” in order to be taken seriously in the legal world. [More]
But she's no longer biased. Honest.

And not to be forgotten:
Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, chairman of the Judiciary panel, was among the four Republicans who voted to send Koh’s nomination to a floor vote. The others were Orrin Hatch of Utah, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Jeff Flake of Arizona.
By the way, I had that model when I was a kid.

Here's the real threat.

I notice Cato doesn't address that (or answer this) in its curiously timed bit of apples and oranges-mixing "left libertarian" globalist subversion and creative data manipulation.  They never will because they know they can't. I hope to be expanding on that within a day or so.

Wronger Together

So "Supergirl" is moving from CBS to the CW, to join with "The Flash" and "Green Arrow" in super-advancing "progressive" memes.  This isn't the first time they've used Hillary's slogan -- in fact, they explain that's what the Superman "S" shield means, in addition to being a family crest.

Blatant audience manipulation using popular entertainment to inject government propaganda? Sure.  That's nothing new.  And of course they think the audiences are non-critical thinking and driven by emotion -- look at what they're offering them to watch.

The case could be made that a network advertising the Clinton campaign slogan is the kind of thing PACs have to observe federal election regulations for. While getting a court to agree seems as impossible as costumed superheroes, you know that's exactly what they're doing <wink>.

So what's she doing all chummy with Bush the Elder, whose "commitment" to his oath was so insincere he made a big public show of ditching NRA?
