When Provocateurs Collide

Gosh, I sure hope the feds on each side have some way of identifying themselves to each other... [More]

UPDATE: They've evidently taken the above-linked page down  -- or had it removed by the crowdfunding site for violation of terms.  They were raising $ for a rumble with the Klan, which appears to be doing everything it can to confirm what the Democrats are saying about Trump and his supporters:

Here's the text from the discontinued GoFundMe page:
This December 3rd, the Pelham, NC chapter of the KKK is organizing a victory march to celebrate Trump's election.
#WorkersAntifa #Durham27704 is going to shut it down. There will be no Nazis in North Carolina, and there will be no platform for fascism. We are not going to permit this organization to continue or allow their violence to go unanswered. No parasán!
Right now, we are building a multi-state network of comrades who will be ready to mobilize and fight back against the literal march of white nationalism. At this point, it is critical to build up as many resources as we possibly can: five comrades were stabbed in Sacramento this July; six members of the #RedGuardsAustin were arrested just this week during antifa action, one of whom had their neck broken by the #AustinSlavePatrol - we need to be prepared. We are setting up this fund to:- Purchase medical supplies for our street medic teams.- Develop a legal fund to deal with anticipated arrests, including bail and legal representation/aid.- Develop a medical fund to assist any comrades with critical injuries.

An Inconvenient Truth

The Arctic seems to be warming up. Reports from fishermen, seal hunters, and explorers who sail the seas about Spitzbergen and the eastern Arctic, all point to a radical change in climatic conditions, and hitherto unheard-of high temperatures in that part of the earth's surface. [More]
You can't argue with settled science.

The Type of Behavior that Just Can't Be Tolerated from Blacks

Non-"progressive," for starters... [More]

There's even a name  for it. Several, actually, but that's one I could print.

How dare he not act the stereotype?

He probably rejects segregation, too, the hater.

And remember, with "progressives," every day is Opposite Day.

The Royal 'We'

“Very disappointed and angry to see Mayor Garcetti state, and I quote ,’We have to make sure, we don’t break too many laws.” [More]
I wonder what other laws "we" can break?

Certainly nothing related to citizen disarmament.

Eric's pretty selective about the law-breaking he indulges in and encourages.

The Missing Link

Florida's 'Stand Your Ground' Law Linked to Increase in Homicides, Study Finds [More]
And the link to the overwhelming number of homicides that are committed by criminals, meaning it does not apply...? And to how many were justifiable...?

And that NBC "News" conveniently neglected to mention from the "study":
Few evaluations of the impact of stand your ground laws on homicide have been conducted. Evaluations of Arizona’s and Texas’ stand your ground laws found no statistically significant impact on homicide.
They're incapable of self-correction, meaning mistrust of and outright contempt for "Authorized Journalists" will continue to grow.

Founding Unpersons

Several professors on Grounds collaborated to write a letter to University President Teresa Sullivan against the inclusion of a Thomas Jefferson quote in her post-election email Nov. 9. [More]
To be followed by Step 2 and Step 3.

"Progressive" academics: Is it any wonder I respect them so?

Think we oughtta tell these shortsighted "intellectuals" that commies don't give passes to profs who wear glasses? Even the useful idiot kind? Me, I don't think they'd listen and would prefer it be a surprise.

Not Your Granddad's 4473

What? Your granddad didn't have a 4473? [More]

Well, they've changed it again, and AmmoLand brings us a comprehensive analysis of just the kinds of information they're looking for. Included, along with a lot of "t"-crossing and "i"-dotting, are things like warning patients and stoners that we don't need to accommodate any stinking state laws.

A change with exploitation potential is replacing "gender" with "sex." Is that the administration's not-so-subtle warning that how you "identify" is restricted to public restrooms? And which box is someone in transition supposed to check?

And not new, but still baffling, is the race/ethnicity section.  Why only "HispanicLatino"? And I'm still wondering why people of Middle East heritage are required to check "White" when  their lands of origin (save Egypt) are in Asia. Won't that negate the certification that "answers in Section A are true, correct and complete"?

Ah well, if I expected any of this to make sense, there wouldn't be a damn form in the first damn  place. Since there is, you can see the entire abomination here.

Faking a Happy Ending but Nonetheless Screwed

Pizza Surprise!

"Obviously they never expected the customer to be armed," said Foreman. [More]
Prepare for the outraged family to ignore the fact that they were armed, masked and pistol whipping the victim who defended himself. That's S.O.P.

And from the "We're the Only Ones Unelightened Enough" Department, we have this:
According to Bartorilla, the customer's gun was properly registered.
With who, Chief?

If he doesn't have a concealed carry permit, the burden of proof is on them that he wasn't open carrying and no one noticed.

Not Quite Thinking Things Through

Streisand to Obama: Appoint Supreme Court justice now [More]
"Give us a king" hasn't always worked out that well in the long run.

I wouldn't start what this is likely to lead to, but then again, maybe she knows how to rappel...

Behind Closed Doors

Soros bands with donors... [More]
They want it to be a surprise.

Olympus Has Fallen

But you'd never know it from all the damning rhetoric about those who have lost faith in the mythology of globalism. And leave it to Greek socialists to praise those gods while holding their palms out. [More]

Cue the Opposite Day "progressivism":
“Because societies which are able to unify ourselves around values and ideals and character, and how we treat each other, and cooperation and innovation, ultimately are going to be more successful than societies that don’t.”
That's what those of us you call "crude" have been saying all along, you idolatrous fraud. You're the ones who turn that into mandated "inclusiveness" and coerced "diversity" destructive to those ends. You're the ones forcing ideologies inimical to those values on all while demanding submision to mandated "unification."

We've outgrown you.

First Comes the Saber-Rattling

Then comes the opening for talks. [More]

That means they realize a hard line with no workaround will have very real consequences on internal tensions they'd rather not see aggravated.

Hence, room for negotiation with someone who knows how...

Supply and Demand

Illegals demand Obama issue mass pardons amid Trump deportation fears [More]
Gee, a demand is generally not optional, and is followed by an "or else."

I wonder how many more would demand that he doesn't. And how many would demand impeachment if he did.

White Racists Need Not Apply

All others welcome, based on many BLM and Islamic State hate posts allowed to stand. [More]

And taking their lead from the SPLC?  That'll end well for patriots who stand against hate, but are nonetheless falsely tarred with that brush.

It's their platform and they can do what they want with it, but the danger remains that legitimate freedom information that will never see the light of day in "authorized media" will now also be shut out of social media. Add in censorship from Facebook, along with search manipulation from Google et al., and such information is effectively suppressed and relegated to echo chambers.

In the case of such giants that dominate and control online information exchanges, the case for government-led collusion might be made, and for hoisting them on their own "progressive" petard of anti-trust laws.
