Top Men

People who live in the area have been complaining about the noise ... Residents living nearby have had enough. [More]
What, you mean besides the Goldsteins? Because this report makes it sound like a line from Alice's Restaurant:
Friends, they may think it's a MOVEMENT, and that's what it is...
Is that the intent of presenting the complaint that way?

"People"? "Residents"?

Who?

(Ha! I knew I'd find a third "Family Guy" reference today!)

The Unbearable Lightness of Being Caroline Redux

When last we left her, Caroline Light was working as a Bloomberg propagandist trying to make the case for dead women being superior to armed ones.

This time out, her thesis is that "stand your ground" is racist. By way of corroboration, she offers the anecdote of Marissa Alexander, conveniently leaving out that Alexander was not under attack when she left her house, went to her garage, retrieved a gun from her vehicle’s glove box and returned to the house to point the gun “in the direction” of her alleged abuser who had his hands in the air, and then fired a shot.

Curious: For all her phony outrage, Caroline is the one who doesn't want Marissa to get her full and equal rights back, whereas this beneficiary of "white privilege" thinks if she can be trusted without a custodian, she can be trusted with a gun.

A Better Way

Yes, Full Faith and Credit seems a much more straightforward approach than bastardizing the Commerce clause even further. [More]

But if we're truly talking about "a better constitutional basis," the first question that comes to my mind is "Where the **** do you people get off requiring 'permits'?"

We're the Only Ones Predictive Enough

It’s called the Predictive Crime Defense System (Yosokugata Hanzai Bogyo System), a computer system that can tell police when and where certain types of crime are most likely to be committed. [More]
Oh, you mean like this?

Hard of Hearing?

This came up on today's Michael Dukes Show:

I don't know if ATF's Turk and Temple have appeared before Oversight yet.

Go to 32:00 at the Oversight video:

Chaffetz issues subpoenaes for them to appear on the 21st and 22nd respectively. If confirmation or an update on that appears anywhere, I'm at a loss to find it.

Let me ask him directly.  Chances for a response would be better if others asked as well.

No Great Mystery

It’s a van that helps law enforcement solve mysteries, but don’t expect to find Scooby-Doo inside. [More]
Ruh-ro.

And we'd have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for you meddling whistleblowers!

Spreading the Word

T.L. Davis will be appearing on the Southern Sense show at 2:15 pm EDT today. [Listen]

To talk about "Lies of Omission"...

But there is Lots More to be Done

Oregon Firearms Federation explains. [More]

I'm not sure I understand what good it does to plead with commited apparatchik Floyd Prozanski, other than to create a record that good people tried to protect their rights through a corrupt, in-your-face system that deliberately ignored and harassed them.

I Know, Mama. But He was My Dog. I'll Do It.

A Virginia Beach man shot his dog and buried her at the beach. Now he's explaining why. [More]
It may not meet the legal definiton of "crueltly," but come on, he thinks it's OK for everyone to use a public beach as a shallow grave Pet Sematary?

Once more we turn to"Family Guy"... I wonder if we're going to have a spate today?

Lucky There's a Family Guy

Lucky there's a man who
positively can do
all the things that make us
laugh and cry,
he's our fam-ly guyyy!
