Molon Labe! Right?

But there is a darker side to this. Many Evergreen State gun owners have not signed, even after months of complaining about the new mandates imposed by gun control Initiative 1639, passed last year by about 60 percent of those casting ballots. It does raise the question: Are Washington gun owners “all mouth?” [More]

Pawn Stars

"During the search of the pawnshop, law enforcement recovered six rifles (including three AR-15-style assault rifles), three handguns and one shotgun," officials said. Law enforcement also said they found 400 rounds of ammunition, including hollow-point bullets, in A-Hady's home and said he is a convicted felon, who is not legally permitted to own firearms. [More]

Tazewell Resolutions

I was able to find the agenda announcing this, but the documents themselves had not yet been posted on the Tazewell Board of Supervisors website and I could not find them anywhere else.  So I called them and they sent it to me.

UPDATE:  After looking this over I do have a couple concerns that need to be voiced. I would express the "right to regulate arms" as "power to regulate the Militia," and the Second Amendment does not "grant" anything. Overall, they deserve to be congratulated for their leadership, but these points are more than mere semantics and need to be considered going forward.

Republicans Rolling Over on Farm ‘Amnesty’ Helping Advance Anti-Gun Agenda

I've posted a challenge on my War on Guns blog that has gone deliberately ignored and unanswered by national and state gun groups and their apologists for years. They know they can't address it without exposing their deliberate indifference as against their members' interests, and I say that here daring them to offer a responsive rebuttal. [More]
Look at what happened to once-Republican California and the rest of the country after Ronald Reagan signed the 1986 Simpson-Mazzoli amnesty, and what increasing Democrat majorities are doing to guns as state demographics change.
