Daily Defense

I'll be joining Armed American Radio host Mark Walters again this afternoon at 4 Eastern to talk about a win in Hawaii, a growing concern the selection of Kamala Harris means for gun owners, and whatever else arises. You can find a station near you or listen via live stream from the AAR website or watch Mark and converse with other listeners on Facebook.

That's What It's All About!

“Last night was not about a cause. That was about violence. That was about paralysis. People want to paralyze the city of Richmond.” [More]

What exactly does this useful idiot think "the cause" really is?

For Hate's Sake

Alas, the millennialists and their mob do not need specific grievances against specific targets. The civilization itself is the only real target; its existence and the mob’s lack of complete mastery over it are the only grievances that really matter. They need know only that the civilization they are attacking has become vulnerable, undefended, and may be safely treated with contempt. [More]

Melville, right...?

Speaking or Reparations...

Will Kamala have to pay them, too? [More]

Glad to see D'Souzsa address the obligatory Snopes deflection...

On This We Can Agree

Think we should tell him...?

Hey, Who's In Charge Here?

State Dept. ‘Guts’ Donald Trump’s Curbs on Fortune 500’s Visa Workers [More]

How? If my boss told me to do something and I did the exact opposite, I'd expect him to fire me and get somebody in who would do the job.

The other thing I'm not getting: Haven't we just proven that most of these jobs can be done remotely via telework? What do we need them physically living here for?

The humane thing to do would be to not force them to leave their homes and extended families and friends, and to pay them what they'd b paid here, allowing them to share the wealth with their countrymen based on products and services they would now be in a position to pay for locally.

Could it be there is some other agenda...?

Trading Places

Reverse the races and this is the only thing anyone talks about for a month [More]

"Talks about"?  Hell, reverse the races and let more non-stop burning and looting begin.

Funny, how criteria for newsworthiness is whether or not it advances the narrative...

Lies of omission...

This is CNN:

Now That They've Fouled Their Nests...

Probably a lot of those Upper West Side moms voted for De Blasio, because it was the trendy “progressive” thing to do at the time. Didn’t it occur to any of them to wonder what the consequences might be? [More]

No, it did not, and most still don't get it and will start crapping wherever they move to.

The Only Remedy

The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination. [More]

And the only remedy to Marxist tyranny...?

LA Times Declares Camping Racist, Finding ‘Disparity in Access to Outdoors’ [More]

More Jellystone Injustice... As with all "progressive" ideas, this one is unoriginal and is quickly being turned into a narrative talking point.

Put a Period After 'War'

Democrats Are Waging War Against Tradition and the Constitution [More]

They're waging war. If you don't believe it's real, watch what they'll tell you about your guns if they win in November.

Don't Count On It

Would the Military Side with Leftist Tyranny or with America? [More]

Tiger talk notwithstanding, experience tells us the leadership is political and most troops follow orders.

I've seen too many express the opinion that the cavalry will ride in and save us, which is just another form of denial to justify not actually doing anything themselves to prepare for the worst.

Hopefully, some good colonels, lower officers, and enlisted men will side with the Constitution, but if they do, their hands will be full. And the lessons of 2016 Turkey have not been lost on them, including how the establishment did not want change and abandons those who challenge and fail to their fates.

Stooges Eyeing Pies

Missouri Governor Mike Parson’s special session on violent crime could now last until September. This extended calendar comes after representatives announced they want to separate each of the governor’s provisions into their own bills. [More]

This is where things get messy.

We're the Only Ones Keeping Abreast Enough

The family of a woman whose breasts were allegedly fondled by an on-duty L.A. police officer who found her dead last fall is suing the officer and the city of L.A. The family of Elizabeth Baggett notes that LAPD Officer David Rojas already has been charged criminally in the case, and that his own body-camera footage allegedly captured him in the act of molesting her. [More]

What, no qualified immunity? Won't that "deter people from choosing a career in law enforcement"?

And Now, the Rest of the Story

On the one hand, they swore an oath to the constitution of the U.S., but on the other hand take this deep dive into American politics to the point that they are advocating military intervention in the presidency. [More]

Just the Name 'Christian' Alone Should Disqualify Him

No one will fight harder for the civil rights of black people than Christian Adams will. He will do so, however, from the standard not of racial grievance, but of strict equality before the law.[More]

There's got to be something we can smear him with... Hey, has he ever known any bipolar chicks suitable for planting "recovered memory" suggestions in...?

[Via Mack H]

I May Just Have a Solution Here

In contrast, police departments and unions have vocally defended qualified immunity, saying the protection it affords officers is essential to their ability to react quickly and decisively in life-or-death situations, and that getting rid of it would deter people from choosing a career in law enforcement. [More]

How about in exchange for you keeping it, we, the members of the citizen militia, also get it, including when defending ourselves against those subjecting us to unlawful orders?

And people say I'm never willing to compromise...

Girl Fight!

Rose McGowan calls out Kamala Harris for accepting past donations from Harvey Weinstein [More]

Why, you don't think Willie required the same of her?

Who's Got the Match?

Now several far-right groups, including militias and white supremacists, are planning an answer rally on Aug. 15, and a broad coalition of leftist anti-racist groups are organizing a counter-demonstration. Local authorities, who have been closely monitoring online chatter about the rally, are bracing for possible conflict.[More]

See, those characterizations right there are editorial comments that smear one side and justify the other, not objective reporting. I'd bet based on numbers and percentages the "patriot" side has far fewer haters.

One point for clarification: "Confederate States III%"? I knew a guy once who considered it an idea, not an organization.

Reports of Their Death are Greatly Exaggerated -- For Now

NY Daily News Closing Newsroom But NOT Closing Paper - My source stressed: No layoffs. (There aren’t many left to lay off.) [More]

Gee, that is so too bad.

And Remember to Do It Politely

Second Amendment supporters should contact their Senators and Representatives and politely urge them to oppose HR 3569 and to instead support legislation like the Protecting Communities and Preserving the Second Amendment Act and the Prosecuting Gun Crimes Saves Lives Act. [More]

Yeah, "fix" prior restraint "background checks" that violent criminals won't go through and also go after gun owners who have been found guilty of defying existing gun laws, all while bolstering the illusion that citizen disarmament edicts are effective at what they promise.

What freedom advocate could possibly be against that?

About That Hero of the Proletariat...

Hey, useful idiots: Karl Marx was a racist and anti-Semite [More]

Rule 4 applies -- not to the destroyers, who observe no rules, but for the yet-persuadable, to see the disconnect.

We're the Only Ones Choosing Sides Enough

Around midnight, Bend Police tweeted that it appeared the federal agents had left the area, adding: "The attendees of the First Amendment event appear to have dispersed peacefully." [More]

Translation: They abetted the mob in interfering with the arrests of two "criminal aliens [who]  each had a history of criminal violent behavior."
