“Lügenpresse!”

I ran across this October entry from our good friends the commie bed wetters at "Raw Story" designed to suppress calling the media what it is by threatening to tar their ideological opposition as Nazis. [More]

They took their lead from CNN's man in in Washington and "Authorized Journalist Extraordinaire" Jake Tapper, who knows a thing or two about the lying press:
True -- some Nazis adopted it (not to say "journalists" of the period were unimpeachable fonts of truth).

But they weren't around in  the Vormärz period, or when Catholics used it in 1848, or in the Franco-German War, or when "intellectuals and journalists used the term" in  WWI, or when it was used by German Marxist Jews after the war, all before the Nazis ever touched the term.

And speaking of Nazis, don't believe the Lügenpresse Newspeak equating them with "conservatives":
Hitler ... was, at heart, a left-winger.
Just like all the liars in the press calling us Nazis to try and intimidate and shame any ideological opposition. But don't tell Jake.

He'll just call you a psychopath.

We all know where that leads for dissenters when collectivists are in charge. And what it allows the lying press to get away with...

Speaking of 'Fake News'...

I pointed out on my blog and social media that the lead climate reporter at the New York Times, Justin Gillis, had mischaracterized the relationship of climate change and food shortages, and the relationship of climate change and disasters. His reporting wasn’t consistent with most expert views, or the evidence. In response he promptly blocked me from his Twitter feed. Other reporters did the same. [More]
Hey, they're just carrying on the "Authorized Journalist" tradition.

Kind of like "British naval tradition," but without the rum...

Also: LOOK WHO'S REALLY GENERATING PHONY STORIES!

'News Analysis'

No it's not. [More]

It's a transparent attempt to calm a spooked herd.

You're quite the "Authorized Journalist," aren't you, Matt Flegenheimer?

Man of Mystery

Why? [More]

Because no "Authorized Journalist" will ask her on  the record. If they do, they'll get in trouble.

Not that this will make any difference...

Fox 35: News You Can Wipe With

Orlando machine gun event stirs controversy. An event where the public will get an opportunity to shoot a semi-automatic gun is being criticized by some. [More]
I guess it's not like "Authorized Journalist" Valerie Boey had anyone she could talk to and ask...

Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists in Training

George Zimmerman puts murder weapon up for sale ... The cold-blooded murder of Trayvon Martin... [More]
It ain't "murder" if you're found not guilty. But hey, it's a college paper. And yeah, it's an "opinion" piece. Still, are there no standards?

They say there are:
The STAR values accuracy and works diligently to check facts before publication. However, if inaccuracies occur, we want  to know. Please report errors to the editor at star@sonoma.edu.
That's cover for the Opposite Day "progressives" running the show. There was demonstrably no diligence in that lazy screed, no editorial fact-checking. Why not?  They're supposed to be learning a craft under guidance. Is there no adult supervision?

I guess that would fall on Paul Gullixson, Faculty Adviser. He's got all the right "Authorized Journalist" creds.

So, do any ignorant biases color his work product? (And they say there are no stupid questions...):
Yes, I believe more universal gun regulation is needed, particularly on assault weapons, which have no place outside of combat zones. That’s the kind of thing that I hope will be discussed on Monday when Rep. Mike Thompson hosts a hearing in Sacramento on gun regulations. Many locals will be in attendance. Thompson, chairman of the House task force on preventing gun violence, is advocating for legislation that would prevent people on the federal government’s terrorist watch list from buying firearms. That seems like an easy first stop on this journey.
No, I guess there is no adult supervision after all. Meaning these kids are perfectly primed to follow in the footsteps of their subject matter knowledge-free mentors.

After all, look at how the "pros" do it.

‘Gunwalker’ Feint Shows Administration Still Stonewalling

Don’t expect the mainstream media, and even Republican politicians, to relentlessly investigate the truth of any of these claims. With a few notable exceptions, they didn’t do anything but ignore and obfuscate while the iron was hot, and there is no incentive to resurrect “yesterday’s news” now. [More]
Meanwhile, most "Authorized Journalist" sources are telling you everything is hunky-dory...

I Am Pete Santilli

I don't know the guy except for the little I've seen. I've never met him, never spoken with him, and don't recall ever communicating with him by any other means. The way he does things is not the way I do thing. And I understand that some good friends are leery of him. Big time. [More]

He's not being charged with what they're leery of.

These friends, along with me, could be charged with the same "crimes."

I've been threatened with legal action before for not being an "Authorized Journalist." That's what led me to coin the term. And I've been threatened with BS charges for intimidating the poor feds.

I've also done what I could to encourage civil disobedience to unjust edicts. And to defy them myself.

If he's guilty, I'm guilty. The above links should give the evil bastards who would prosecute such actions all the evidence they need.

Like I said, I don't know the guy. For all I know, my friends may be right to be wary.  But that's not what this is about.

Making a Statement

“It strikes me as ironic that the first question is constitutionality from a press that has no problem demonizing firearms,” Pitts said. “With this statement I’m talking primarily about printed press and TV. The TV stations, the six o’clock news and the printed press has no qualms demonizing gun owners and gun ownership.” [More]
Sit down, Bill Rogers of the SC Press Association, and all the reading-challenged, conclusion-jumping idiots in comments who are too thick to realize the guy is just making a point -- a rather good one, actually -- to illustrate "Authorized Journalist" incompetence and hypocrisy.

[Via Jake S]

UPDATE:  Indignant Idiot here fell for it.  And now is desperately trying to backpedal after realizing everybody got the point but him.

Taking the Lead!

It was quite a night of crime fighting Tuesday night in St. Louis city with citizens taking the lead.  Folks gathered at a church to meet with police, supporters of a gun buy-back program raised money to support their cause... [More]
Yep, sounds like quite a night of crime fighting there, "Authorized Journalist" Roche Madden. Now that's leadership!

Do you think this guy is actually dumb enough to believe his own line of bull****? Because after reading this and watching him, I do.

The Dominant Message

I do self searches as a matter of routine, both for reputation management and to see how the work is propagating.  Aside from just a regular search, I also check the Google "News" feed, which only picks up on "authorized journalist" sources.

It says something that the top two traffic-based slots, the links that most will ever see, go to the leftist lie pieces. That's one more reason why I ask regular readers who perceive getting value from the work, to return some value by regularly sharing my links.

When "Progressives" Collide

A corrupt Democrat politician (but I repeat myself) and an "Authorized Journalist... well, since I can't cheer for anybody, I may as well make some popcorn and enjoy the show. [More]

What the hell was that?  It looked like a poorly-aimed Five-Point-Palm Exploding Heart Technique.

We're the Only Ones Shot-Spotting Enough

But we're not listening to anything or anyone else. Honest. [More]

Why, that's not even possible...

I like the way the "authorized journalist" at the start of the video refers to this as "a new technology."  Ah well, they're being paid to deliver a message, not to know what they're talking about.

Roanoke On-Air Shooting Suspect Identified

His LinkedIn page is still active. [UPDATE: Now down.]

As are his Twitter account (I just accessed it now -- a few minutes before then I got an "account suspended" message, as did others leaving comments) and his Facebook page. [UPDATE: FB now down.]

This was one apparent motive:

Between that and being an "Authorized Journalist," it looks like we're dealing with a "progressive" mindset...

I suggest going to his social media sites and grabbing what you can before they're taken down-- either by the host companies or by authorities who will treat it as ongoing investigation evidence that could potentially "taint" a jury pool...

UPDATE: Videos here. Horrible. I'm glad the second one does not show the actual execution. Save before they're taken down.

UPDATE: Looks like he offed himself.

UPDATE: Critical condition?

UPDATE: Nope. Dead.

UPDATE: He had interviewed Philip. I'll try to find out more.

UPDATE: Here's Phil and John Pierce talking to him, taken by a third party:

UPDATE: Right on cue, here come the MoveOn.org blood dancers, disgusting pigs that they are:
UPDATE: Bryce on "gun control":
I think that they would say that the government should regulate the how man is able to access guns, because the government exists solely to protect property and if man needs a gun to preserve himself than he should have it but on a certain basis.
UPDATE: He was an Obama supporter who wanted a race war.

We're the Only Ones Botching Stings Enough

The FBI said they believe that Lumpkin bought the weapons for the felons, knowing that, under law, they were unable to buy firearms due to their felony convictions. [More]
Noting the sterling examples set by our nation's law enforcement leadership and their "Authorized Journalist" PR teams, I prefer to think of this as a failed tracking attempt.

We're the Only Ones Stripped Down to Basics Enough

A Portland Police Bureau officer is under investigation after a woman visiting from Las Vegas said he arrived at her Pearl District hotel room to follow up on her domestic assault complaint, stripped naked and ordered her to give him a massage. [More]
The thing that sticks out most for me, no double entendre intended, is the Authorized Journalist "reporting" the cop showed the victim his "service revolver."

Freddie Allen, NNPA Senior Washington Correspondent

And all-around press flack for the antis... [More]

One source, VPC, no alternatives allowed, even though they are readily available, and this is "news"?

So there have been no lives saved, no DGUs?

The overwhelming number of them without firing a shot...?

Want to compare "concealed carry killers' to "Only Ones," Freddie, you "Authorized Journalist/Legitimate News Media/Real Reporter" hack?

[Via Neil W]

UPDATE: And I learned from his Twitter feeds that Freddie is one of those  who don't trust the police to do the right thing by the community-- which makes his stumping for them being "Only Ones" all the more of a disconnect with anything resembling logic.

A Staunch Defender

A Marine Corps veteran who spent 40 years in law enforcement, he is a staunch defender of the Second Amendment. [More]
Based on results, no he's not.

What's with the "Authorized Journalist" presenting that as a fact rather than a claim?

SPLC-Designated Radical Extremists Fail to Cause Anti-Government Havoc at Sugar Pine Mine

In other words, Oath Keepers acted, as anyone who actually knows them would expect, with professionalism, compassion and competent action, and saved an AP reporter's life. [More]

I wonder if "Authorized Journalist" coverage will reflect a new understanding of what these men are truly about.

I wonder if there will be coverage.  You know, besides "reports" with headlines like "Oath Keepers Come Out to Heckle Oregon Residents Who Want Armed Gathering to Disband" and "Residents say armed mine supporters sully Josephine County's reputation."

You know, coverage like this.

Coming Soon to a Caliphate Near You

I admit I have not had time to give The Betrayal Papers more than a cursory look, but I have to admit, the premise of "Authorized Journalist" complicity is one that resonates with me. [More]
