And They Say There Are No Stupid Questions

Do you agree that the Second Amendment gives citizens the right to own and bear guns without infringement? [More]
I wonder how many ignoramuses who don't know why they're wrong and get all angry and obnoxious with people who do answered "yes"?  I don't fee like giving out my edress and zip code to find out-- I get enough targeted spam as is.

See, there's a problem with some websites people accept as sympatico because of the tone they strike to appeal to a certain readership. Ever since I found out Ruddy was part of a mutual admiration society with Clinton, I've had about as much use for Newsmax as I've had with that obnoxious carnival barker "conservative" Michael Savage.

Yet again I must defer to Mr. Pynchon.

The Weiner Nation

I think we’re going to enter years and years, if not decades of darkness. [More]

If he really believes that, it's up to him to square it with calling for an "assault weapons" ban and backing Moonbeam for governor.

I'll say it again: Obnoxious carnival barker.

What I see is him exploiting an opportunity by attaching himself like a lamprey to what he knows will resonate with followers blissfully unaware of what a phony "conservative" he is.

The Conversion of St. Michael

Join him on his "spritual odyssey." All major credit cards accepted. [More]

I'll say it again: Obnoxious carnival barker.

Boiling Point

'We are at a boiling point. There's going to be a civil war' [More]
So when is he going to issue a profound and sincere apology for disparaging armed resistance to tyranny as "Nonsense"?

Really, "civil war," Michael?  So why call for this?

Aside from the fact that so many are easily swayed by a BS artist who hits the right buzzword buttons, I have never understood what so many self-styled "conservatives" see in this self-serving and  obnoxious carnival barker.

Savage (masturb)Ation

Listen to the obnoxious carnival barker for yourself:

To anyone determined to argue that my article was based on a 2009 essay he wrote, so it's somehow no longer relevant, it's on you to show where he has repudiated his positions, apologized, and made an effort to correct the record and publicize it.

A gun-grabber is a  gun-grabber, and it doesn't matter if he's a big "but" (I'm a gun owner and believe in the Second Amendment but) gun-grabber. That's actually the worst kind. And this video demonstrates the powerhouse talk kapo also doesn't have a clue about delegated powers.

But it's OK -- the big boy "conservative" sites hawking this fraud's latest are generating thousands and thousands of comments and shares, completely drowning out the observation that the emperor has no clothes, so the Savage über alles crowd needn't worry.  I'm sure his new book will be a fantastic success.

Besides, it's not like the loyalties, the time, the effort or the money being diverted chasing a sterile bee queen could be put to better use...

The Savage Truth

It is a big deal because he had a bullet chambered in the gun and he had the safety off… [More]
As I've noted before, I have no idea why anyone who considers himself "freedom-oriented" has anything to do with this obnoxious carnival barker.

The guy is a sterile bee queen -- get all the drones following him instead of paying attention to voices that could matter.

Savage Capitulation

Michael Savage is one among prominent conservatives who have come out favoring a ban on assault weapons, in light of the tragic mass shooting in the Colorado movie theater on July 20th. [More]
I rarely disagree with my friends at JPFO, but if we're to equate the term "conservative" with someone who promotes and adheres to founding era principles established in the Constitution, this obnoxious carnival barker hardly qualifies.

Not only is this not a new development for the guy, neither is channeling his inner Karger. Savage told his followers (and that's one anyone who unquestioningly believes this fraud must be):
Of course, I can already hear callers telling me, “Well, Mike, if we’re armed with these weapons, the government can’t possibly take our rights away.” That is nonsense. If the government wants to take your rights away or imprison you for whatever reason, your owning an assault rifle is not going to stop it.
One can safely assume what Weiner's counsel at Warsaw would have been.

What a useless (useful to some?) distraction this character is.

Why are So Many 'Conservatives' Following Michael Savage?

I have never understood the Michael Savage phenomenon. He's loud, he's abrasive, and he's hardly the "conservative" so many apparently think he is. I guess tapping into the border issue has convinced some that he is a kindred spirit. For anyone who place the Constitution first, he is not.

Case in point, today's amazingly ignorant screed, "Why are the police outgunned?":

"So I put the question to the Savage Nation. Is it time to ban assault rifles? What are they really needed for?" [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column shows the true nature of an "obnoxious carnival barker" who essentially claims--if you read what he's saying--that the Second Amendment is useless.

This one is important to share, because corporate media foists him on a public that doesn't know any better and represents him as a leading conservative voice. Don't let him--or them--get away with it. Tell a friend?

Also meet an honorable Savage, see a reminder about a TV show you probably ought to watch, find out about a rally in Oregon, and, of course, get the very latest commentary from my fellow GREs.

The Savage Violation

America's most fiery conservative talk show host backing liberal Jerry Brown for California's attorney general?

Yes, it's true.

Michael Savage, the nation's third-most-listened-to radio host (and fourth-most-influential host, according to NewsMax's Top 25 List), confirmed that he recently donated $5,600 – the maximum allowable – to Brown's campaign. [More]

No, it's not all "true". While "conservative" is a relative term based on what it is you're trying to "conserve," the implication in the US is that it refers to someone who believes in the founding principles of the Constitution.

I've long shaken my head in wonder at anyone who could be bamboozled into thinking this bloviating loudmouth is sincere about anything other than self-promotion. I never did see any depth in the guy, but then, what did Mr. Mencken tell us about the American public?

We've seen what Jerry Brown thinks of gun rights. He's basing a large part of his campaign running commercials against them. By donating money to his campaign, Savage has provided aid and comfort to the enemy. He has revealed himself to be the enemy.

Anyone wasting time or money following this obnoxious carnival barker is chasing a sterile queen bee. If you've ever bought one of his books, congratulations. You just helped finance the further enslavement of ourselves and our posterity.
