You CAN Stop the Signal?

I will be interested to see if this happens again, and'/or with any others of my online friends. Having been subjected to Google News feed blackouts and Facebook "community standards" rejections, I'm starting to feel like I'm at the end point of a Goldfinger quote.

Funny. Attack pieces on RKBA don't seem to have these problems...

The Will of la Gente

280,000 people are illegally registered to vote in Texas, according to the DPS database. Just over 4 million of the registered voters – or 30% of registered voters – DO NOT match up to the DPS database! Again, roughly 30% of all registered voters in Texas cannot be matched in DPS’s database! Just let that sink in! [More]
Anybody have any corroborating details? Because if we rely on Google's "News" feed, the problem doesn't exist.

Here We Go Again

"We are Here for you, students of Great Mills," Parkland student activist Emma Gonzalez tweeted, "together we can stop this from ever happening again." [More]
What a seasoned liar. Then again, with "progressives," every day is Opposite Day.

Here's Google's News feed, to keep up on breaking developments.

An "Only One," but I'll take it this time.

And They Spelled the Name Right

“Republican majorities are in the House and in the Senate, and a Republican president is in the White House. They wouldn’t be there were it not for gun owners,” David Codrea wrote on the blog Ammoland in late December. “We’re being asked to help provide cover to rationalize yet another Intolerable Act, and this one with the sanction of our ‘gun rights leaders.’” [More]
This one came out Jan. 9, but for some reason just now showed up on my Google News feed. Before accusing me of giving Bloomberg's The Trace an opening to attack NRA, ask yourself whose side in the "bump stock" debate is Fairfax on?

And Your Point Is?

David Codrea writes on the Oath Keepers website that Eric Holder is “back trying to make murdered schoolchildren do for his goals what murdered Mexicans could not: Disarm countrymen he loathes.” [More]
Yeah?  And you have insider sources who've told you different?

This Mantala character is turning into quite the follower.  On the plus side, he got my name right this time (and into the Google "News" feed), plus it drives more eyeballs to the site, so I'll take it.

Contrary to Popular Opinion

The only reason I've got spots 1 and 5 right now is because of this.  But the problem is, my stuff is a niche within a niche, regularly "vanished" off the Google News feed  and, of course, never given a boost by Fairfaxians and their admittedly more popular and "pragmatic" cheerleaders.

It is what it is. I get it.

Still, I'm going to take a shameless self-promotion moment and repeat:

If you get value from a piece and think others may as well, please share the link.

Now You See It, Now You Don't

Just a few days ago, my dissection of a law professor's lies about the Second Amendment was on the Google News feed:

Now it's been removed.

The masses will only be exposed to the lies. The truth will be confined to a niche echo chamber.

This is by design.

Now You See It, Now You Don't

This is what you used to see at that link for a few days:

This is what you see now:

Good ol' Google News feed...

You didn't want to know what your representatives are being told about ATF funding anyway.

As Expected

Aside from noting that no “legacy media” outfit is (yet) reporting on this... [More]
Based on my piece still being the only Google News feed entry, they apparently don't think the public has a need to know.

What else aren't we hearing about?

Lies of Omission

Pennsylvania Supermarket Shooter Self-Identified as Transgender Woman Who Hated All Men [More]
Yeah, well GUNS.

Funny how the Google News feed reveals such selective "reporting":
I wonder why that is...?

All Aboard the Lolita Express!

Well, not ALL aboard.

If you look at the Google NEWS feed, you'll see that at this writing, the term doesn't generate a hit on the major newspapers and networks.

You'd think if the story were not true, honest, unbiased and responsible journalists would want such an important record corrected. After all, the facts that so many outlets are reporting on, and that rightly or wrongly, so many Americans are giving increasing credence to it before such a significant election, make it a story.

The Invisible Man

FBI files linking Hillary Clinton to the 'suicide' of White House counsel Vince Foster have vanished from the National Archives ... Days before his death, then First Lady ridiculed him mercilessly in front of his peers, say former FBI agents and detailed it in their report ... 'You have failed us,' Hillary told Foster... [More]
Aren't some people trying to come up with laws for when bullying leads to suicide? In any case, it sure is indicative of a cruel and totally self-absorbed character, which is no doubt why the records have been "buried."  I'm sure they'll turn up right next to the Rose Law Firm files.

That's funny -- based on Google's "News" feed, U.S. mass media doesn't seem to think this story is worth bringing to the public's attention.

Gee, I wonder why.

Going, Going, Gone

My AmmoLand stuff continues to be removed from the Google News feed by decision-makers unknown.

I guess if it's important enough to need knowing, you can read about it in USA Today.

Question for Ted Nugent

Americans for Tax Reform
If there was a Hall of Fame of Common Sense, a huge statue of Grover Norquist would at be the front door. [More]
Do you still feel that way? After knowing this? And this and this?

I ask because, as one of the few who got an "everybody keep this in perspective" message into the Google News feed over your bone-headed "Jew poster" misstep, I see you're also up for Nominating Committee-endorsed reelection this time. Candidly, I want to know if I should add you to my "Do not vote for" list.

What I'd prefer is to see some common sense from you. That and some answers to a few questions.

---

Message delivered:
UPDATE: Answered without you, Ted. I wasn't expecting you to reply anyway. From page "C" of the 2016 Director Recall:

So evidently hard core "Great NRA Patriot" Ted is OK with a fellow director who endorses gun-grabbers, just like he has done. It doesn't bother Ted if Grover works with Bloomberg to implement Hillary amnesty policies, and to ensure millions of Democrat-leaning anti-gunners are fast-tracked on the "pathway to citizenship."

And like the rest of them, he won't give a compelling, numbers-based rebuttal because he can’t.

Oregon Standoff Report

Earlier today, I posted on the Oathkeepers  statement reiterating the wishes of the Hammond family that they were going to surrender themselves and did not want outsiders coming in and inflaming the situation. That wish was not honored.

I observed:
This has the potential to go bad real quick, and the repercussions may be far reaching, deadly, and exploitable by those who would use the situation to justify invoking extreme measures under the banner of national security. At this point, I would not rule out provocateurs.
Vanderboegh has an update and further observations, including the situation status as we now understand it. Read what he has to say. It's important:
Here is a statement from Stewart Rhodes:

Stay tuned.

This Message Brought to You by the Totalitarian Lobby

Wayne's is just a convenient face to put on the punching bag. [More]

The real story here is how out crusading "government watchdogs"/Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists are in unison using everything they've got to exploit an engineered situation to undermine due process, disarm the citizenry and create a monopoly of violence.

Check the Google News feed for yourself.

It's all part of a plan that's coming together -- the only "problem" is the pesky "extremists" who will not comply, and who will remember the enablers.

We're not hiding. We are everywhere.

Paranoid Gun Owners

Editorial: There is no plot to seize the guns of law-abiding citizens [More]
Yeah, pay no attention to all those editorials demanding to repeal the Second Amendment in the current Google News feed being promoted throughout the land. Besides, you can trust us on guns: we have Gannett ethics!

Do you believe that loon Ben Carson, actually suggesting to fight back?

And thinking that the Holocaust could have been resisted had more Jews been armed and unified? Where would anyone come up with a ridiculous idea like that?

Or that governments that disarm citizens to establish a monopoly of violence would ever abuse such powers? That's just plain ludicrous!

All these Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists have are blatant lies and Alinsky Rule 5 ridicule. If you want to take a brief trip further down the rabbit hole, try reading some of the comments -- they demonstrate better than anything I could say why it's a waste of time trying to debate with fanatical ignoramuses. You won't change closed minds, and the time and energy is better spent elsewhere.

"No, your move" is about all the engagement I'll give them. I like to hear them resort to contemptuous dismissals because their beloved masters have predator drones and nukes.

The Dominant Message

I do self searches as a matter of routine, both for reputation management and to see how the work is propagating.  Aside from just a regular search, I also check the Google "News" feed, which only picks up on "authorized journalist" sources.

It says something that the top two traffic-based slots, the links that most will ever see, go to the leftist lie pieces. That's one more reason why I ask regular readers who perceive getting value from the work, to return some value by regularly sharing my links.

The Latest Meme

High gun ownership linked to high rate of police officer deaths, study shows [More]
Correlation = causation?  Then we must ban ice cream!

There are all kinds of statistical tricks going on to derive the above "claim," and John Lott shows us how they do the con.

There's one other factor, and that's the definition of "ownership," which is a legal and moral term. Mere "possession" of a gun does not qualify for the term any more than being a carjacker makes one a car owner.

No matter: Our Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists are on the job making sure the hive mind is saturated with the lie.  See for yourself how many iterations have been picked up by the Google News feed alone, and  then realize the message is also being propagated by TV networks, blogs, social media, etc.
