We're the Only Ones Rounding Up Enough

An Ohio family whose members have served their friends and neighbors with food cooperative services involving bulk and discount supplies has been targeted in a raid by armed law enforcement officers wearing black fatigues who forcibly rounded up the mom and 10 children and held them for six hours.
We were trying to confirm what happened here.

Still, aren't you glad Lorain County "Only Ones" have the resources to do this? Particularly at a time when they're laying off 20 deputies?

It must mean there's not all that much crime in Lorain.

That is, outside - their - police - department...

Another Commie for Obommie

This guy's a judge.

Lorain County Common Pleas Judge James Burge.

Nice heroes on his wall, eh?

For all his worrying about the inhumanity of lethal injections, he's strangely silent on communist executions.

Naturally he's an establishment democrat.

And a rewarder of criminals (how does a felon qualify to be a bailiff?)

And it's not just white collar criminals coddled by Judge Burge: guys who beat their wives in the head with a hammer and hold them at gunpoint also qualify.

Let's see what else:
He gave probation to former Elyria councilman Joseph Monteleone, who was convicted of touching the buttocks of three teenage girls and twice asking a 15 year-old girl for sex...

Burge acquitted James P. Smith, a Lorain man who admitted to whipping his son on the back with a belt, of domestic violence and endangering children charges...
How does a creature like this come into power?

By a landslide.

I'd say this is a pretty good microcosm of what we can expect when you combine democracy with a feelings-based electorate and then give them a Lightworker to illuminate the way...

We're the Only Ones Extra-Legal Enough

"Nobody said you did anything illegal," responded an officer. [More]
Then why did you force yourself on him?

It's not exactly like Lorain "Only Ones" have established themselves as the ... uh ... only ones who can be trusted with guns.

And my goodness, those "Authorized Journalists" look breathlessly indignant and concerned.  All that emphasis on "assault rifle," like they'd have been cool with a Fudd gun.

We're the Only Ones Suspended Enough

Wolford has had several other run-ins with the law while on the Lorain police force. [More]
Which makes me wonder how many other things he's gotten away with...

Yeah, but we can still trust this meathead with a gun in places where you and I would be forbidden. I guess that's the same magic power that results in "reduced charges."

We're the Only Ones Mishandling Enough

Retired Lorain police Officer Ralph Gonzalez was being investigated for mishandling his department-issued firearms, two of which police believe are now on the black market, when he turned in his retirement paperwork Sept. 28. [More]
It sounds to me like someone is mishandling the dictionary.

Gee, Whatever Can Be Done?

Three masked gunmen storm a local bank, terrifying tellers and customers. Investigators released surveillance photos in hopes of getting the violent robbers off the street.

The men robbed the Fifth Third Bank at Lorain Avenue and Fulton Road in Cleveland just before 3:00 p.m. Friday. [More]

You know, Fifth Third Bank...

At what point do these enablers become liable...?

We're the Only Ones Reasonably Explained Enough

“There is no reasonable justification for the failure of the Lorain Police Department to conduct an appropriate investigation in 1993,” Zaleski ruled. [More]
Of course there is, judge.

Of course there is.

We're the Only Ones Hierarchical Enough

A retired Lorain police sergeant has said that when he was on the force, his fellow officers engaged in “nonconsensual sexual misconduct” with members of the public while they were on duty and weren’t meaningfully disciplined for it, according to court documents filed Wednesday. [More]
Nonconsensual sexual misconduct”?

Is that "Only One" code-speak for "rape"?

Well, yeah, I understand why there was no "meaningful discipline," seeing as how the immediate response that a rape attempt deserves would deplete the force of so many "bad apples" there apparently wouldn't be that many left in the barrel...

What Happened at the Co-Op?

An Ohio Department of Agriculture agent seized food, electronic devices and documents from a Pittsfield Township organic and natural food cooperative believed to be unlicensed, according to a search warrant filed yesterday in Lorain County Common Pleas Court.
I've been following Internet accounts of this over the weekend and haven't been able to verify what went down.

Some accounts are reporting a SWAT raid.

I haven't been able to confirm this, so I've been hesitant to comment. It would not surprise me to learn the "Authorized Journalists" have once more failed at government watchdoggery, but at this point not enough is known to make a judgment. Just like it would not surprise me to see organic food distributors treated like homegrown terrorists.

We're the Only Ones Safely Storing Enough

A sheriff’s report stated the thief entered the home of Lorain police Detective Ralph Gonzalez through an unlocked rear door and stole three bottles of liquor, the gun and a brown leather holster.
The "Only Ones" loophole... maybe we ought to be demanding it be closed by turning in their guns at the end of the shift...?

Maybe that card should be played the next time some urban cop spokesman demands more "gun control."

We're the Only Ones Reinstated Enough

The city and its police department must take back an officer fired last fall amid accusations that he had used a stun gun on a handcuffed prisoner, an arbitrator ruled Monday...

Investigators concluded that Santiago, 24, of Lorain had done nothing to deserve being shocked. Santiago was handcuffed in the back seat of a cruiser when he was stunned, the report said.

The Fraternal Order of Police appealed Bozsoki's dismissal to the arbitrator.
Of course they did.
