71-year-old Ladona Paris was having an obvious mental health crisis (the officers even agreed). Instead of trying to de-escalate the situation, Officer Ronni Carrocia can be seen laughing, shaking the door to agitate Paris, and firing her taser. [Watch]
That sick definition of "fun" makes it fair to wonder whose mental condition is more of a public threat, especially with the casual assumption that being recorded is no problem.

The evidence is there. They saw a crime being committed. As has been well established, you don't need a weapon, but if one had been used, do you think LAPD would still be offering a cop-out?
If Rock wanted to go after Smith civilly, that would be one thing. But in a criminal case, it would not be Rock v. Smith, it would be The People v. Smith.

The time would be better spent telling us how focusing on inanimate objects instead of government policies resulting in human operators unfit to be trusted with freedom has made Baltimore such a success story.
Funny, how nowhere in this "report" is there any admission that the goal here is to require all "legal" guns to be traceable to their current owners, meaning a "universal background check" ban on private sales, meaning a de facto registration system, meaning when the rules are changed again, the government will know exactly who to target for mandatory "buy-back" confiscations.
And note who won't let that slow them down one bit. Any bets if they impose this, urban homicides will continue to climb?
