Toning Down the Old Toxic Masculinity

‘Cut the Wire,’ a Toy Bomb Game, Is Discontinued After Criticism [More]
They should have told the Marxist bluenoses where to shove the bomb. I don't know any boy that wouldn't think this is cool -- at least until the brainwashers got hold of him or doped him out on Ritalin if he didn't get with the program.

And I believe I owe this man an apology. It's his former colleagues that ought to be ashamed of themselves.

When feral sons Uday and Qusay were cubs, we'd occasionally go to those restaurants that give you those coaster thingies that buzz and light up when your table is ready. We'd pass the time playing it was a bomb and passing it around after holding it a minute to see who it "exploded" on.

We still play it on rare occasions when we find ourselves in one of those joints.

A Mother's Journey

Minds can be changed if they have the right influence, as this special report from NRA shows. [Watch]

The training of children is also paramount, as much as the blood dancers find it more advantageous to keep them as ignorant as their useful idiot followers.

An observation from personal experience:  I'm delighted to see things worked out for this couple and differences were resolved.  Me, I took Sweetie to the range on, like, our third date, and her willingness and enthusiasm were big factors in helping me decide this was a person I wanted to get to know better. I can't recommend that highly enough for any of you in relationships you haven't committed to yet.

If she'd have been horrified instead, odds are we wouldn't have feral sons Uday and Qusay chained in the basement right now gnawing on intruder bones.

Hold Your Fire?

I'm prepping for the rallies and have a ton of things to do. I've got to focus the remainder of my writing time until I get back on the Examiner stuff, because feral sons Uday and Qusay are holding their bellies and whimpering again.

So any further postings here at WoG will probably only be announcements for tomorrow and Monday's GRE columns I need to write--right after I get the yard work done before it starts raining again.

Which is my roundabout way of saying please hold off on news tips, etc. Seriously. I just won't be able to get to them.

If you hate me, you'll want me to return exhausted from a long trip facing hundreds of emails. Truly, it will be that many if I don't slow it down now. Those of you who do email regularly know I try my best to reply--please understand if I don't.

Hiatus

I'm outta here until mid-next week. I'll be unchaining feral sons Uday and Qusay from the basement and giving them free run of the house, so they'd better not chew up the sofa again.

Since I won't be here to moderate, I'm turning comments off until my return. Please hold all tips, emails and social media messages, because I not only won't get to them now, there's no way I'll be able to on my return.

Thanks for understanding.  See ya on the other side.

See You on the Other Side

I've got a long drive ahead of me and need to get on the road. I'm unchaining feral sons Uday and Qusay and letting them out of the basement, so I won't be there to save anyone who somehow gets in during my absence.

Sorry, but I won't be able to respond to tips/emails or moderate comments until I get back.

So Finger-Wagging Isn't Enough...?

Buford Tune, owner of the Academy of Personal Protection and Security, believes parents should give hands-on training to their children. [More]
Bingo!

Feral sons Uday and Qusay got range training early, starting with seeing what could happen before they were ready for hands-on. More on that, along with the requisite pointing and laughing at cud-chewers, here....

There's an App for That

Amazon Key takes deliveries to new level: Inside your home [More]
Hey, it's OK though. It's on a cloud!

For some reason that reminds me of a line I remember from back when feral sons Uday and Qusay were little and liked to watch "Dexter's Laboratory." I'm just amazed somebody else remembered and memorialized it, too:

Teach Your Children Well

Father Kills Son in Shootout Over Who Would Walk Dog: Police [More]
I can't tell you how many times something similar has almost sent me and feral sons Uday and Qusay on a course of no return.

If this doesn't validate Snuffy's contention it's the guns, nothing will.

Still, I'm in a bit of a quandary: How do I update my law to accomodate people who can't be trusted with dogs?

Yul is absolutely no help.

And forget it Jake...

Signs and Symptoms of Psychotic Episodes

Rand Paul: McCain ‘past his prime,’ may be ‘unhinged’ [More]
Dang. And I so wanted feral sons Uday and Qusay to die fighting against Russia for Montenegro.

Spare the 'Rod'...

Prosecutors charged a Kansas City man Monday with two counts of first-degree domestic assault for allegedly shooting his 7-year-old daughter in the hand and in the back ... [More]
Ah, that takes me back to the days of potty training feral sons Uday and Qusay...

So the "man" has been a "prohibited person" since 2007...?

Well that didn't work.

If only they would disarm you and me.

We're the Only Ones Fraternal Enough

A Superior Court judge found a suspended Woonsocket police officer guilty of abusing his 9-year-old half-sister by choking her and pulling her 30 feet by her ponytail after she refused to obey his commands. [More]
Hey, how can he expect US to respect his authoritah if she won't?

Besides, I can't tell you how many times I used to choke feral sons Uday and Qusay and drag them around by their hair.

He's a Well-Respected Man About Town

This means, as respected firearms blogger David Codrea recently noted, that when it’s time for someone to “pay the piper,” it won’t be real criminals that get the shaft, it will be some poor FFL that hasn’t kept his books up to snuff. [More]
I've warned these folks before not everyone agrees with that assessment, and any public acknowledgement may end up working against them in the eyes of those who feel I've stepped on toes or worse. That said, I intend to grab feral sons Uday and Qusay by their collars and read this to them -- it's nice to know there are ways to command their respect other than what I have to do to break up their parties.

I'll drag 'em in for an obedience lesson right after this song is over.

We're the Only Ones "This'll Hurt You a Lot More than It will Me" Enough

Yep, I can't tell you how many times I've had to leave feral sons Uday and Qusay clutching their stomachs and sobbing in pain. [Read]

Spare the club 'n all that...

Plus, what's the point of being bigger and stronger than people, not to mention having authority over them, if you can't beat 'em up when you want to?

Why So Enuretic?

[T]he poster is ultimately a racially charged image. [More]
Oh good grief. Someone's corset is on too tight. Fan the vapors away before he faints!

Do you think Phillip Kennicott actually believes his own nonsense, or is he just doing his part as an "Authorized Journalist" to propagate the meme that Lightworker criticism = racism?

The most astute comment of the lot came from judsonhouse1, who gives Kennicott exactly the intellectual consideration this piece merits.

On a side note, feral sons Uday and Qusay are in SoCal right now (with Cousin Kim Jong!) stomping on fault lines to see what they can trigger. I told them when they get to LA to jump out of the car (preferably in traffic) and rip one of these down and bring it back to me for a souvenir.

How the Place has Changed

3 shot dead, 4 injured at Torrance bowling alley [More]
So much for California being on the Brady and Gabby "Best" lists.

As an aside, that's where we first took feral sons Uday and Qusay bowling.  When I worked in defense electronics, that's where our company team played.

People who act like "it can never happen here" are fooling themselves.

I Just Dropped in to See what Condition His Condition Was In

T.L. Davis relects while going through the needed steps to heal, and reveals he's one of the few strangers who can stare down feral sons Uday and Qusay when they're not on the leash (albeit they had just been fed). [More]

The Question on Everyone's Mind

Will Jude Law's Dumbledore be openly gay? [More]
A personal anecdote about the whole "Harry Potter" phenomenon: We did not expressly forbid it to them as some parents have for religious reasons, but feral sons Uday and Qusay just were never interested. All the hoopla has been driven by pretty much the same "progressive" demographic that never gave up comic books and thus changed who they're written for.

Right, Archie?

Captain's Log

It's been a while since I did one of these -- I guess Herschel was concerned about not over-burdening me after surgery. It's like I just got done telling some friends, my health is gettng back to normal -- I can still beat the stuffing out of snarling feral sons Uday and Qusay while clenching a stogie between my teeth.

And Today...

Until they get this Blogger mess fixed for good, I just can't see putting any more work into this site.

If you have not yet read today's GRE, here it is. Journey with us now to the mysterious Congo, a perilous trip made all the more dangerous by a Brady Four-Star rating.

As always, your sharing that link with millions will help keep the meager bowls of gruel for feral sons Uday and Qusay filled to the brim.

Words as Weapons

Changing Reality with Words - Beware of euphemisms. [More]
I'm reminded of "Framing the Terms" from our old GunTruths site, observations still relevant to the discussion...

As an aside, feral sons Uday and Qusay have been known to crack up at an old movie when a character says he or she are feeling gay.
