Red Lives Matter

Black Lives Matter was formed in 2013 by three self-styled “Marxist-Leninist revolutionaries,” who selected as their movement icon convicted cop-killer and Black Liberation Army member Assata Shakur. Shakur had fled to Cuba after being convicted of the homicide she committed when her car was stopped for a broken tail-light by two New Jersey state troopers. Without any warning, Shakur shot trooper Werner Foerster. The 34-year- old Vietnam veteran was lying wounded on the ground pleading for his life, when Shakur walked over and executed him. Officer Foerster left a widow and a three-year-old son. Black Lives Matter activists refer to the murderer as “our beloved Assata Shakur” and chant her words as a ritual, “at every meeting, every event, every action, every freeway we’ve shut down, every mall we’ve shut down.”  The chant is this: “It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love and support one another. We have nothing to lose but our chains.” The last line is lifted directly from the conclusion to the Communist Manifesto, a document and war cry that has led to the murders of millions. [More]
That is what enemies foreign and domestic, and the useful idiots they exploit, are taking a knee for.

UPDATE: Can this be true?
EXCLUSIVE: Donations, Including International Funding, to BlackLivesMatter.com Go Directly to the DNC – This Is Money Laundering
I'm skeptical that this is a complete picture and an accurate representation and am wondering about a distinction between campaigns and charities not being depicted. I'd love to have that proven unfounded, but I'll be surprised if it is.

What a Fudgehead

Let me just say very quickly on them opening things: You know they opened up the beauty salons and barber shops, the bowling alleys and the movie theaters. When they open up the country clubs and the tanning spas, then I’ll know it’s safe for the rest of us. [More]
I don't suppose reality would have any effect on any constituent racist and dumb enough to vote for this lying parasite:
"[B]usinesses that remain closed ... Personal appearance/beauty services ... bowling alleys ... Movie theaters..."
And yes, of course. It's not like anyone had to ask.

Speaking of Separating Families...

Heavily armed hitman of rival El Chapo cartel is arrested over Mormon massacre after a stand-off at the US border where he held two HOSTAGES as heartbreaking photos show devastated relatives visiting the scene of the massacre [More]
Damned lax American gun laws!

Don't expect this to change.

Or this.

Any gun owners still out there putting it all on the line for that idiot Ammon Bundy?

UPDATE--Tangentially related:
A tiny cabal of government contractors, mostly religious groups cloaking their profit-seeking in compassion and Scripture, perpetuates the refugee resettlement racket. Openly hostile to American sovereignty, these people spread their tax-subsidized syndicate's wealth to a vast network of subcontractors, often tied to billionaire George Soros and his Open Society Foundations, which promote global governance and unfettered migration espoused by the United Nations, European Union and Vatican.

A-yup.

An Idea Whose Time Has Come

"Shocking moment angry commuters drag two #ExtinctionRebellion protestors off the top of a train in Canning Town and attack them." [More]
I wish there was some way to monetize more of that reaction. I guess needing to get to work so you can feed your kids and being harassed by parasites does that...

I always kind of liked Col. Savage's solution in Bhowani Junction.

Drama Queen Demands Attention Even in Death

David Hogg has officially been clear: If he’s assassinated, he wants his corpse to decorate the doorstep of the NRA’s headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia. This is, of course, after activists do a photo shoot with it for propaganda purposes. [More]
And here I thought he was going to ascend into the clouds, the way this narcissistic little useful idiot perceives his significance.

Hey, if that doesn't work out, how about Alternate Plan B?

Another Three Bite the Dust

The group dismissed its longtime outside counsel Charles Cooper, according to a source familiar with the matter. The source also confirmed to CNN that Michael Volkov, another outside counsel, resigned Thursday as did an in-house lawyer. [More]

Racecard Ragestorm in 3...2...1...

"I started saying in 1985 I don’t think we should have a music talking about ni**ers and b*tches and h*es. It had no impact. I’ve said it. I’ve repeated it. I still repeat it. To me, that’s more damaging than a statue of Robert E. Lee. [More]
Exactly.

And it sure does say a lot about content of character.

I just found out this lottery-winning setup fraud got a Pulitzer. Those Opposite Day "progressives" sure want everyone to think they're not racists.

We're the Only Ones Resupplied Enough

Trump prepares to lift limits on military gear for police [More]
I pretty much outlined my militarization concerns reflecting on how it would complicate a Battle of Athens rematch.

Anybody see any bills for all those "stauch defenders of the Second Amendment"  we keep getting suckered into voting for on carrying out their "organizing, arming, and disciplining" the Militia mandate, and by that I'm talking about including (b)(2)...?

Less is Moore

Is the exploding ammo anything like heat-seeking bullets that cook a deer when you shoot it? Has Michael done anything to go after Russia and China for the 7.62 X 39 round?

And "...WE used in Vietnam..."? Is that a royal "we"? What is he, the Queen? Alternatively, was he shirtless, like in "Rambo"?

Point of order: NRA never did report back on my filing to expel him, which is a violation of the Bylaws.

The Myth of the Unarmed Man

If you don't believe media bias plays a role in how Americans interpret use of force by law enforcement, try this simple test. Do a Google search for "police officer kills unarmed man." I did and I got 179,000 results. Searching "Police officer shoots unarmed man" returned 205,000 results. Finally, I flipped the search around and typed, "unarmed man attacks police officer." I got this message: "No results found." [More]
Make sure you put the terms in quotation marks.

Here's another useful search to corroborate the justification for not allowing yourself to be attacked: "killed by punch".

The good thing about guns, as many who have been through a DGU can attest, is their presentation is often enough to make a potential attacker reconsider so the situation is resolved without coming to blows or worse. That's a good thing.

If an assailant will not allow that to happen, well, I have this saying. I'm not going to let some moron sociopath put my life and/or health at risk if I can stop him instead, using whatever means at my disposal to get the job done.

Whatever means. My experienced friend will attest to that.

You'll note no "Only Ones" title for this post. Just as I don't support police having special immunities withheld from We the People, I don't expect them, as individual human beings first, to have any fewer.

An Educated Man

He must be, to mix his judgments in with public policy. [More]

I'm sure Milton Agurs would be happy to share his qualifications/ credentials and cite references to support that unique historic view he uses to justify denying rights to his countrymen.

Wouldn't you, Milton?

Which reminds me: Everybody see this?

Lone Star Legislation

Introduced by newly re-elected Representative Tim Kleinschmidt (R-Lexington), House Bill 176 (HB176) declares all federal restrictions on the right to keep and bear arms to be "invalid" and "not enforceable" within the state of Texas. [More]
Doesn't look like he has any co-sponsors yet, but the "text" tab is active if you want to read the bill.

We know how the feds responded to Firearms Freedom Acts in Tennessee and Montana, and we also know who doesn't want to get involved (and how). I've actually been remiss in following up on more recent developments, so if you're interested, you can keep up with developments here.

I've been asked what I think.

If a critical mass of gun owners were serious about defending their right to keep and bear arms, we'd be invincible and wouldn't need to dick around with political half measures.

The Busybody Neighbor

Looks like Gladys Kravitz is alive and well. [More]

And it looks like the rights-hater is a tax-feeder.

Looks like the library doesn't want to be bothered.  I wonder if the cached page works.

Alternatively, it looks like Minnesota allows open carry if you have a permit.  I wonder if she really wants to invite a counter-demonstration on the public sidewalk in front of that sign. It's not like the news didn't just tell everybody, including those who may be inclined to exploit a gun-free home, exactly where they can find it.

UPDATE: The cached page does work for sending messages to the library.

Expanding the Lexicon

AP's Yost Ignores Fri. Fast and Furious Doc Dump... [More]

Hell, why not? According to them, the whole damn story hardly qualifies as news.

Maybe Mike and I need to start referring to ourselves as "undocumented journalists"--you know, we're doing the jobs the "Authorized" ones won't do...

And maybe we ought to start using a new word:

yōst: transitive verb
a : to intentionally ignore a story that conflicts with a media outlet's political agenda.

b: to manipulate basic story elements to provoke a conclusion in readers that supports a media outlet's political agenda.

c: to clog a closet bend underneath a toilet. Also see yost (noun)--the material cause of the clog itself, as in "Who wrote this yost?" and in verb/gerund form: "He was straining while yosting and ruptured a blood vessel in his eye."

We're the Only Ones All Charged Up Enough

Officer Kenneth Simon, 49, was charged today with perjury, official oppression, conspiracy, theft, obstruction and other charges for his role in a July drug bust at a North Side car wash. Officer Anthony Scarpine, 58, was charged with conspiracy, obstruction, official oppression and unsworn falsification to authorities. [More]
Two old guys? Can we assume that means they've been allowed to get away with "few bad appling" for some time?
