We're the Only Ones Evident Enough

The State Police have launched an investigation into whether Harvey Mayor Eric Kellogg and other officials in the south suburb were involved in the disappearance of a gun in a criminal case, law enforcement sources said Wednesday.
Corruption in Harvey? Impossible!

We're the Only Ones Barefoot in the Park Enough

Reserve deputy Jon Barefoot parked his Jeep Cherokee near the building before going on duty beginning Monday night.

When he returned to the car Tuesday at about 7 p.m., after working an unpaid security detail for the parade, he found a window of his Jeep had been cut, according to reports filed with the Bloomington Police Department.

Missing from the vehicle were an IMI Baby Eagle 9mm handgun, a pair of handcuffs and the Jeep’s CD player.

Eric Harris: Gun Control Poster Boy

Noting that, "a school is no place for a gun," Harris concluded that the use of metal detectors and an increased police presence "are a great start to fight against guns in school."
I can't think of a more expert and appropriate spokesman for "gun control" in schools. And you'll never guess who agrees with you, Eric...

Blagojevitch "Older and Wiser Today"

"Had my dad immigrated to the southern part of the state, instead of being a steelworker, he'd have been a coal miner, and I probably would have grown up instead of shooting hoops at the playground, shooting rifles and hunting," said Blagojevich, appearing in casual dress outside the state-funded $50 million World Shooting and Recreational Complex that his administration championed.
I've never heard a politician pander for votes by claiming to be an accident of birth before.

Hopefully, there are enough Bill of Rights voters to overcome the Fuddites so that Blago is older and unemployed tomorrow.

Rats!

During the last week of June, in an audit of the city's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's rodent control efforts, the city comptroller chastised officials for taking a month, on average, to respond to rat sightings.
But the rats in charge have apparently unlimited resources to trump up false charges against gun dealers.

"Gun Violence Claims Another Teen"

Nope, no bias or agenda at the propaganda-free Associated Press.

They're "authorized journalists," you know.

Loopy Dennis Rebuffed

(Last Letter)
Regarding Dennis Dwyer's letter of July 3 ["Disarm 2nd Amendment"]: In case he has not noticed, Chicago has, for all intents and purposes, already repealed the Second Amendment.

Hernando Zavala strikes back.

Loopy Dennis

(2nd Letter)
Rather than debating no-brainer issues such as whether assault weapons should be banned, it is time to go for the jugular. It is time to open a serious discussion on repealing the Second Amendment.

South Loop
Yeah, Dennis. Go for the jugular.

Oh, you want someone else to do it for you?

We're the Only Ones Supplying Enough

A service weapon stolen from a D.C. police lieutenant has been tied to a spate of crimes in which at least six people, four of them teenagers, were shot in recent months, police records show.
Somebody should sue the manufacturer.

We're the Only Ones Paternal Enough

A boy of 11 died after he was accidentally stabbed in the heart by his police officer father during a "play-fight", an inquest was told yesterday.
Yeah, I do that with my kids all the time, too. What father doesn't?

Shameless Plug: Terror Havens or Gun Show Pinholes?

Two shotguns and a box of ammo hardly seem to prove an arms pipeline from your local gun show to bin Laden’s mountain lair—particularly with all those undercover BATFE agents milling about dealer tables asking where they can get a good deal on machine gun conversion kits.
"Terror Havens or Gun Show Pinholes" is my Rights Watch column for the August issue of GUNS Magazine, on sale now at non-terrorized newsstands throughout the Republic.

BONUS: See pg. 100 to learn how you can win a Springfield Armory XD .45 ACP.

Doh!

And if the Second Amendment is no longer applicable, what other rights have also grown obsolete through neglect? Do we even know what it is we so cavalierly surrender?

“Americans know more about The Simpsons TV show than the US Constitution’s First Amendment,” the BBC News reported about a McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum poll.
"Doh!," my Rights Watch column for the July issue of GUNS Magazine, is now online.

GUNS Magazine, July 1956

"Why Marines Outshoot Our Soldiers"

"The Man Who Teaches Hollywood Stars to Shoot" (Pity someone can't teach them to think.)

"Why Shooting Doesn't Go Professional"

And much more.

The July 1956 issue of GUNS Magazine is now online.

"Well, I'm back."

Please don't take it personally if I haven't responded or reacted to an email. I've been that occupied.

Too Busy to Blog

Work is demanding my all. I will be back after the Independence Day holiday.

Please remember that it is not all about backyard barbecues and entertainment. Good people paid the last full measure to secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity.

Reflect on that, and what part you will play / what price you will pay in restoring our usurped freedoms.

We're the Only Ones on Full Auto Enough

THE UZI sub-machine gun which fired the shot that killed former Anti-Kidnapping Squad (AKS) police constable Carlos Guerra was tendered into evidence yesterday...

AKS constable Sheldon Narine, who shot and killed Guerra, is contesting that it was an accident.
I'm confused. In the lead paragraph, they implied it was the Uzi that was responsible...

We're the Only Ones Getting Special Treatment Enough

The commander of the Utah Highway Patrol's anti-DUI squad turned in his resignation this afternoon, just days after being arrested on suspicion of drunken driving...

He was cited for DUI and released to the custody of his supervisor, who was called to the scene of the crash.
So they hustled him out of there and didn't cage him with the orcs until he bailed out? Who does this guy think he is, a Kennedy?

Hey, at least he was put on "paid administrative leave."

Boxer Jabs Back

Professional boxer Andrew Golota plans to come out fighting against weapons charges filed against him this week, his attorney said Friday.

The Polish-born Chicago resident plans to plead not guilty, his attorney said, to 12 misdemeanor counts of failing to register a weapon -- a charge for each of the 12 guns that police say were found in his Northwest Side home -- and for possessing a revoked state firearm owner's identification card.
I see no indication that he plans to introduce the Second Amendment anywhere in his defense...

J'Accuse...!

"I fear what he will do to me. He has guns - five hunting rifles. He has them hidden."
All it takes is a relationship gone bad...

Let's Hear It for New Zealand "Gun Control" Laws

Four elderly women were forced from their card table and into the Devonport Bowling Club toilets by a nail-gun shooting robber who then stole their handbags.
This is what the cowards, traitors and fools supporting citizen disarmament would reduce us all to.
