Teeth, that is.
Not mine, eldest feral son Uday's.
I'm taking him in to have all four removed.
No fun. There will be pain.
I'm not expecting to post any more today, or to get to many emails.
UPDATE:
Success. Home recuperating. The kid's fine, too.

Will Supreme Court Incorporate Second Amendment?

Let us hope this optimism is fulfilled. Not that a "good" ruling will mean the battle is over. [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at some hopeful speculations--with caution.

Golfers arrested after fighting off gang attempting to steal clubs...Officially insane.
According to reports, the players were about to tee off on the fourth hole of the course in Bromley, Kent, when they were confronted by a group of teenagers brandishing planks of wood. [More]

We're the Only Ones Harboring Secrets Enough
Police allege Det. Stephanie Lazarus, 49, shot her ex-boyfriend's wife, then harbored the secret for more than two decades. [More]Y'know, I was just saying to myself this emphasis on the "Only Ones" is getting a bit overwhelming.
The stories just keep coming in. More than I can process.
I sure feel good knowing Stephanie was out there carrying for all those years when I was living in LA---and that when I did, I was taking the risk of losing my freedom or life if she or her colleagues had discovered it.

We're the Only Ones "No Charge" Enough
Charges won't be filed against troopers or a paramedic, involved in a scuffle near Paden. [More]It wasn't the paramedic who deserves to be charged. He didn't assault anybody.
I guess that's how these guys cover their hind ends.
You'd better believe if the "Only Ones" could have gotten him for obstruction or resisting, they would have. And they'd have gotten away with it, too, if it hadn't been for those darn cameras...

We're the Only Ones Shredding Enough
Document shredding puts Strike Force in doubtThe whole team?
The integrity of the team of 34 officers and supervisors from 13 local law enforcement agencies, who focus on gang- and drug-related crime, now is so damaged by the unauthorized destruction that it may never restart operations. [More]
Gee, that must be what happens when you have "a few bad apples" in the "Only Ones" barrel.
Some of the comments are what we've come to expect from those afflicted with AWMD (authority-worshiping mental disorder).

We're the Only Ones "We've Got the Beat" Enough
Holloway appears to comply, but Rios jumps out and begins hitting him with his fists and a baton. [More]Let the "Only One" apologies begin.
We didn't see the whole tape.
We didn't hear what he said.
Just a few bad apples do not spoil the whole barrel.
Hey, if he'd listened this wouldn't have happened. He's lucky they didn't shoot his ass.
It does kind of let us know why some don't particularly want us to have cameras. Or guns. Some day, those animals who perpetrate official brutality, and those who stand by and condone it, may feel very, very alone.

Torture Not Unconstitutional
Taser use to obtain DNA not unconstitutional [More]Now imagine if they tried this at Gitmo.
Oh well, I can hear the police state apologists telling us what a scumbag the suspect was and how he deserved what he got. Their dim, worshipful minds just can't seem to think it through.

The Warrior Gene
Boys who have a so-called "warrior gene" are more likely to join gangs and also more likely to be among the most violent members and to use weapons, a new study finds. [More]Ah!

A Sticky Situation
Richmond Coliseum Bans VCDL Stickers! [More]With the hive mentality exhibited here, I'm tempted to stop calling them "antis" and start calling them "ants." They get so worked up over repressing people they're almost comical.
Almost.
Good job, VCDL.
My favorite part is this:
Stay tuned - this could skyrocket.Let us hope.

A Poor Way to Fight Gun Violence

It may surprise some, but I won't argue too hard against the mayors' assertion that criminals won't file off or replace imprinting parts, and won't stop to pick up spent casings. They could, but why should they? Since their guns are the "illegal" ones the mayors say they're against, that is, since they're almost certainly stolen/black market guns, it's not like lawful purchase records can be traced back to them.Today's Gun Rights Examiner shows our old pals the Mayors Against (Your) Guns still trying to baffle everyone with BS.
And it's not like one violent sociopath will let this nonsense slow them down one bit. [More]

All our accounts, for several days past, agree, that the Enemy are preparing to make a considerable embarkation of Horse and Foot, and by the Quantity of Water, Hay and Provision of other kind it should seem that they are going out to Sea. Apathy Enables Gun Control

I firmly believe as great an enemy of our rights as those who are against them are those who say they are for them but do nothing. Apathy is as great a threat as enmity. Possibly greater. [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner column reminisces about the Citizens of America national media campaign I was part of some years back, as the apathy that prevented it from flourishing is still with us today.

If the place is Such that he cannot safely plant a Guard there for fear of the Enemy, he would by the same rule lose his Artillery, as he has not Men to Support them. If any Works are necessary at the passes he mentions, I should think small Redoubts Sufficient to oppose musquetry. [More]

'Future Weapons' No Solution for 'Friendly Fire'

Take out a cop and you can now "pinpoint" where the others are. Want to find out who the undercover guy is (remember, all officers involved in this latest shooting were in plain clothes)? Easy, he's the one with the tricked out future weapon. And it's not like uniformed officers ever have need for stealth--why not force them to use guns that emit audible and visible signals? [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at the latest ridiculous proposal by NYPD.
I guess the brass figure they can divert the idiot media's attention span from looking at human operators for things like training and profile-based assumptions.

The Real Reason Texas Campus Carry Failed
Republican legislators in the Texas House of Representatives were so hell-bent on passing this repressive and useless "Voter ID" law that they scuttled their own time-honored rules of procedure just so they could keep Democrats from blocking a vote on the Voter ID bill. The result was a five-day filibuster on the House floor, courtesy of Democratic legislators, that stretched over Memorial Day weekend. When the dust settled, Voter ID was dead, but so were hundreds of other bills which were simply tossed aside by House Republicans in a vain effort to save Voter ID. One of those bills thrown on the funeral pyre was the campus concealed-carry bill, which had already passed the Texas Senate and was simply awaiting a vote in the House. [More]So the Brady propaganda is just that.
Speaking of which, this PR by the antis really reads like Marxist propaganda--it just has that Commiespeak air about it. I keep expecting something about "heroes of the glorious revolution." Andy Pelosi. Now there's a self-made man we can all respect.
And I read another article some damn where that I can't find now--it actually referred to the Virginia Tech survivors as "experts" we should heed to realize being disarmed is the safest way to encounter an armed mass-murderer.
