Just Between Us Girls

Here it is. This is the video where I was asked to keep the Democrat proposals for the NY SAFE Act away from the public. [More]
I don't know how I missed this from a month ago, but you've gotta see it:

Why Buy the Cow if the Milk's Free?

Why bother with The New York Times beat reporter when Obama can go on “The View”? [More]
No flowers...he never calls...What's the difference between "Legitimate Media" and a public toilet?  A public toilet doesn't follow you around begging to be noticed after you've used it.

What, you "Authorized Journalist" media sluts thought he'd respect you in the morning? S'OK...I'm sure he'll take full advantage of you again the next time it's convenient and he's got nothing better lined up.

Comedy Gold line from this piece:
The president’s day-to-day policy development — on immigration, on guns — is almost totally opaque to the reporters trying to do a responsible job of covering it.

Presto-Change-O!

I'm sure there are all kinds of dynamics going on, and using ringers wouldn't surprise me, but I also believe there are people who are this weak-minded. [Read]

Eric the Magnificent is counting on it.

Dumb and Dumber

This seems to me like the same intentional error those who claim the U.S. is such a violent country make when they lump peaceable gun owners into the same mix as thugs. [Read]

Total Government Control

Yeah, it's like this. [Read]

Nobody knows anything, nobody knows for how long, and nobody is responsible.

Maybe resistance is a mistake.

This Day in History: February 19

He reached the fort and briefly laid siege to it on February19th by having his men build some "Quaker" cannons, then demanded the surrender of the fort. He threatened to blow the fort to splinters.

Riddle Me This

What do you get when you cross aggressive government attempts to strip citizens of their Second Amendment rights with at least 65 million American gun owners, who have just bought roughly 65 million more guns in only the last four years? [More]

Chicago's top cop condemns gun owners for political activism

Actually, it would be fair to say McCarthy, who advocates measures that continue to guarantee the Windy City’s place as Murder Capital U.S.A., has no business being in any position of authority, and perhaps has no business being allowed outside of custodial care. [More]

Last Night's Armed American Radio Program

Last night's show has been posted on the AAR site.  I was on in the first hour, when host Mark Walters gave a corrected version of Obama's "State of the Union" speech, and also the third hour "Roundtable," when George "Mad Ogre" Hill joined in.

Another Scary Gun "On the Streets"

At that point, the victim was able to reach inside her glove box, pull out a pistol and point it at the suspect, police said.

The suspect then ran away. [More]
Damn bloodthirsty vigilante gun owner!

Boys Will Be Boys?

"To me, 10- and 11-year-olds do bad things," he said. "They throw rocks through windows. They shoot BB guns at people's cars. They hit people with sticks, they set a cat on fire. Those are things that children do. But this was a plot to kill." [More]
Maybe your kids do, buddy. You accept those first few examples as normal behavior, and how is it their taking things to the next level shocks you so?

This article brings up another beef of mine -- this business of "protecting" the identities of juveniles hardly serves the interests of public safety -- if there are a couple of proto-psychos living in my neighborhood, I'd like to know about it so I can exercise appropriate precautions.  And that includes any twisted enough to throw rocks through windows, shoot BB guns at people's cars, hit people with sticks and set cats on fire.

Don't Bank On It

Does there exist anywhere in the United States a bank that labels itself a “gun-free zone”? I don’t think so. I would be shocked if there were one. [More]
