Mark Walters will be joined in-studio by Buddy Simpson, the subject of one of the case stories he and Rob Pincus wrote about in their new book "Lessons from Unarmed America."
Joining Mark later in the first hour will be Carol Craighead of CrossBreed Holsters. Neil W. McCabe of Human Events/ Guns & Patriots will be coming on in the second hour, and I'll be calling in for Hour Three, as will pro-gun journalist Tom Skoch.
The program broadcasts from 8 to 11 p.m. Eastern.

New Boston ATF head’s Fast and Furious ties raise questions
Someone might also ask new ATF Director B. Todd Jones if a plum assignment is what he means by holding personnel involved in Fast and Furious accountable. [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner exclusive report asks questions literally no one else is asking. Why do you think that is, and will you join in demanding answers?
The First Amendment According to Park Rangers
As I approached the top of the steps, one of the three (!) guards told me to leave. I mentioned the First Amendment exception, and that freedom of assembly seems to be part of that. He advised me that the area to assemble is only down below the monument, not at the monument itself. Somehow I missed that exception to that particular amendment. So I proceeded to read the First Amendment, loudly, for the audience below. [More]Is it any wonder we all love government enforcers so?

Connecticut gun group shows Gov. Malloy does not understand law he signed
This is not the first time an anti-gun politician has proven to be clueless about edicts they would impose on gun owners under force of punitive law. [More]
Today’s Gun Rights Examiner report notes ignorance-based fear is at the heart of all bigotry.
Gov. Brown Issues Temporary Stay of Execution
Good news for now. But to paraphrase the last governor, they'll be back. [More]

More Than One Way to Skin a Database
I’m not trying to be insulting, but any database that doesn’t have the input, guidance, formatting and QA to ensure its fidelity from the civilian population doesn’t stand a chance of being anything other than a joke. That’s why the progressives want it codified into law. [More]Like the NFRTR?
My own belief is some 4473 copying is probably going on for specific LE investigative purposes, but that's not an efficient way of getting around the law. Since the government has oversight and monitoring on banking, I would not be surprised if credit card transactions and even signed checks for gun and ammo purchases were able to be sorted out of the mix--I'd actually be surprised if that is NOT happening, and I'd like to see some oversight inquiries made. Since it would not be ATF doing it, I don't see how Congressional funding restrictions would be applicable, but I'd still like to have that investigated.
And while we're at it, why not compile in all those permit records?
We're the Only Ones Confirming the Stereotypes Enough
Among those clocked was a trooper who got off the interstate and traveled 80 mph en route to a Dunkin’ Donuts. [More]You cannot make this stuff up.

License to Kill
Oh, it's the Toledo Blade again... [More]
Y'know, until gun owners in that area get active and organize to take concrete steps to hit 'em where they hurt, I can't get too worked up about whatever subversive lies they publish.
As an aside, look at the comment by some idiot from the University of Toledo, who claims "the law is turned on its head places the burden of proof on the state and the party claiming does not even have to bring it up in a court of law."
Why am I reminded of Brian's question to Peter?

Let's see, the "Only One's" partner was killed by a criminal who bought his long gun illegally--yeah, this'll certainly stop that.
And as for those "four Republicans," does anyone know who they are, so we can make sure this follows them around for the rest of their political careers, which, if most gun owners would simply get off their apathetic rear ends, could be over the very next time they throw their hats in the ring?

You may find you need 'em some day.
Especially since they're doing more than your own guy did, albeit he apparently had problems of his own...
Ain't it something though: The same ATF that denied "outside employment" for Dodson approved it for this guy.

An Unwarranted Response?
No, sir, it was not. [More]
I merely emulated what you did, and did it in an extreme cartoon way to emphasize how unfair that is to those having their reputations called into question without evidence-based probable cause. There were no serious accusations in my post, thus no actual flames being thrown at the spelling bee, and an honest reading will bear that out.
That's the reason I made a special point of asking the question "See how easy that was?"
